When your exams don’t go as per your expectations, you realise you are somehow failing. To work upon that, one should be blooming upon the things that make them happy.

If you choose to do things you are interested in, at the end of the day, you will be happy. And being happy is a sign of confidence and positive energy. Failure isn’t something you can’t overcome and failure isn’t only for exams, it includes all the other things.

Failing a tournament you wanted to win badly, failing one of the debates, failing the driving test and many more – where do all these failures lead us? The answer lies in our life itself. The light to our tunnel gets completely dim when failure hits us but we should take that as learning, to explore more, to understand the concept and idea. We should work even harder than before, for example, if we planned to score 60 in a test and couldn’t, make sure to score 90 in the next turn. That’s what time makes us do, coming out stronger than before.

Always know your weakness and work upon them every now and then. We have been through these kinds of moments. I was mentally not in a good position and emotionally, I noticed everything triggered me more than how it used to do usually. When I was going through this, I lost hope that I could do better but when I actually did introspection, I realised I had loads of opportunities around me.

Yes. IIMB does require the CAT exam, but the rest of the top B-schools in Bangalore also take in candidates through the state-level CET, ie, the Karnataka PGCET exam, or through MAT or CMAT.

IIM Calcutta has only mentioned accepting GMAT score for admission into EMBA courses.

However, CAT is commonly accepted by other similar institutes for both MBA and MBAEx courses. Thus, candidates are advised to ask admission desk for confirmation on this question.

It is not possible to determine a candidate's admission in IIM Calcutta MBA course through CAT score alone. In Stage 1, a score 85% in CAT will be enough for a general category candidate to be selected for PI+WAT admission stage.

Final admission cutoffs are based on many factors other than CAT score.
