It is important to devote time and analyse how the exam went. This will help narrow down the mistakes in the upcoming exams.

There are many articles about what to do before and during the exam. However, there are only a few that tell you what you need to do after you have taken a management entrance exam.

From my own personal experience, I would like to say that after examination we need to devote time on the analysis of questions that we have attempted in order to get an overview of how our exams actually went. This will help you understand that the mistakes you made in one test are not repeated in the upcoming management entrance exam.

Most of us, after giving the examinations, waste that day by taking rest or going out. But these are the things which I was also going after. However, there is no harm in doing so, but we should be sensible enough to know what is right and what is wrong for us. We are aware of the fact that if we don't invest time now on our career it would be a  loss for us. Ultimately we are to be blamed for our deeds no one else for our activities.

I myself was on the same track and did not analyse the question paper and I kept on repeating the same mistakes again and again. In fact, I was unaware that the cycle kept going on. However, I went through the question paper after completing the exam and gradually, gained interest and solved the whole question paper. The question that I was unable to do at the time of examination I was able to do that at home. Gradually, I realised questions are not actually tough but due to tension and time pressure and lack of practice, we are unable to solve any of them.

Then I started giving tests to reduce all sorts of problems that I had but I got an experience of what actually I was doing at the time of examination.

Awareness about what you do is of utmost importance. Then only we can solve any sort of problem that we face. After doing this, I could excel in every exam whether it was my college examination or any sort of competitive examination.

So, spend some time with the question paper after it’s done to know your mistakes, as these are the only obstacles in the path of our success
