Distance MBA is basically a PG course that is provided remotely, that helps in allowing the students to earn their MBA degree without being physically present on campus. In a Distance MBA program, coursework, lectures and interactions with instructors and classmates typically take place online for 2 years.
This mode of study is convenient for the working professionals or individuals who cannot attend traditional on-campus classes because of many constraints such as location, job commitments or even the family responsibilities.
For Distance MBA courses, candidates must clear any UG course with 50%. Please note that curriculum, eligibility, entrance exams and fees can be different based on colleges. Popular colleges that offer Distance MBA are IGNOU, Annamalai University, Symbiosis Centre for Distant Learning, etc. Distance MBA course fees can range from INR 3 Lakh to INR 11 Lakh.

The time that is needed to prepare for the Distance MBA entrance exam cannot be said with any clarity, as it totally depends on the caliber of the students, but it is better to start as early as possible so that you have enough time to go through the whole exam syllabus and can much more time left for the revision of each section to increase your chances of getting an excellent score.
You must start at least 6 to 8 months before the final exam date because the competition is too high, leading to skyrocketing cut-offs for admission.
