NEET 2020 admit card released

NEET 2021 admit card has been released by National Testing Agency (NTA) for the second time on January 6 for qualifying candidates who are eligible to participate in the NEET 2021 counselling rounds. Those who have misplaced their NEET admit card 2021 can download it once again by visiting the NEET 2021 website and download it by logging in with their application credentials. Originally, NTA had released the NEET 2021 admit card on September 6, a week before the exam which was scheduled on September 12.

NEET admit card 2021 will act as identity proof for the candidates appearing for the examination as well as counselling rounds. The admit card of NEET 2021 has been uploaded on the official website of NTA, which is, neet.nta.nic.in. Qualifying candidates for NEET 2021 counselling process will be able to download the NEET admit card 2021 by logging into the registered account on the official website of NTA. The link to download the NEET admit card is provided below.

Q:   What are the information required to download the NEET admit card?
A:

The NEET admit card has to be downloaded online from the official website of the NEET 2025. The details or the information to be entered are given below:

  • NEET 2025 application number
  • Date of Birth
  • Security Code or Captcha

In case candidates forget the credentials or the NEET 2025 application number or password, they will have to click on the Forgot Application Number or Forgot Password tab and retrieve the details. 

Q:   Should the NEET admit card printout be coloured or black and white?
A:

Candidates are advised to take a coloured printout of the NEET 2025 admit card. However, it is not compulsory. NTA does not state any guideline regarding this. They should carry two to three spare copies of the NEET admit card for future use. However, in case a candidate does not have access to a coloured printer, s/he can take a black and white printout of the NEET 2025 admit card as well, but the details such as photograph and text should be clearly visible. Test takers have to paste their photograph in the space provided and should not have signed on it. The Self Declaration Undertaking has to be filled up prior to the exam day. 

Q:   What is the process to download NEET OMR sheets?
A:

Along with the provisional NEET answer keys, NTA releases the NEET OMR sheets of the test takers. Candidates could download those from the official website of NEET. Candidates had to follow the steps given below to download the NEET OMR sheet:

  1. Visit the official website of NEET, which is neet.nta.nic.in
  2. Click on the link indicating NEET OMR sheet download
  3. Enter the login credentials
  4. Click on ‘OMR Challenge’ tab
  5. Click on ‘Click here to view your OMR Answer Sheet’
  6. Check the scanned image of the answer sheet uploaded by NTA
  7. Download and save the NEET OMR sheet for future reference

After downloading the NEET OMR sheets, candidates must check carefully whether it is in the same condition as the one they had submitted. In case there is any discrepancy, they can submit challenges or objections. In case there is no discrepancy, they can calculate their estimated scores by tallying their responses with the NEET provisional answer keys.

The admit card of NEET 2021 will act as an identity proof of the candidate on the day of the examination and during the counselling process. During both these events, the authorities will verify the details printed on the NEET admit card 2021. The details printed on the admit card of NEET 2021 will be matched with those on the official ID of candidate (Aadhaar card/PAN card/voter ID/ passport/driving license). If the details do not match, the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the examination/counselling.

NEET 2025 admit card has to be downloaded in online mode only. Prior to starting the process, candidates should keep handy the NEET 2025 username and password and ensure a stable internet connection. The procedure for downloading the admit card or the hall ticket for NEET 2025 is as follows:

  • Fill up a form regarding your the latest health and travel updates

  • Log in with NEET 2025 Application Number and Password along with the Security Pin

  • Take multiple printouts.
Q:   I have signed on the NEET admit card by mistake. What should I do now?
A:

Candidates have to sign on the NEET admit card in presence of the invigilator. This acts as a proof of attendance for the exam day. In case a candidate signs it before that, he/she should discard the document and take a fresh print out and follow the instructions carefully. If a candidate realises this after reaching the exam centre, then they must notify the exam centre authorities and seek for their approval to allow them to appear for the exam. Otherwise, they should take a printout of the NEET admit card from the exam centre or from the vicinity.

Q:   Will NTA send the NEET admit card via post?
A:

No, NTA does not send the NEET admit card by post and candidates have to download it online from the official website. Students who will appear for NEET must download the admit card in an online mode as and when it is released and not delay it till last moment. Candidates are advised to take multiple printouts and check the details printed on the NEET admit card carefully. In case a candidate lacks a proper internet connection, then he or she can visit a nearby Common Service Centre or CSC or take the help of teachers or peers to download and print the admit card of NEET.

What Should You Do if There is Any Discrepancy in the Details Printed on the NEET 2021 Admit Card?

If there is any discrepancy in the details printed on the admit card of NEET 2021 the candidate must contact the officials at NTA immediately and get it rectified. However, candidates must note that if they had filled incorrect details in the application form of NEET 2021, and the errors on the admit card only reflect the mistakes made in the application form, the officials at NTA may refuse to make such corrections.

Instructions that Need to be Followed After Downloading the NEET Admit Card 2021

  • There are three things that candidates must do after they download their NEET 2021 admit card. First, they must take a coloured printout of the NEET admit card 2021. Candidates must note that a black and white printout of the NEET hall ticket will not be acceptable.
  • Next, they must paste a recent passport size photograph in the space provided. This photograph must be same as the one uploaded with the NEET 2021 application form.
  • Last, it is mandatory to get the admit card of NEET 2021 signed by a parent or guardian. A candidate who fails to get the admit card signed will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
