The board releases the MP Board class 10 sample paper for the students on its website. Sample papers released by the board also include the marking scheme of the exam. The total marks of each subject is 100. The subjects which have practical tests are marked as 80 for theory and 20 for practical. Both multiple-choice and subjective-type questions are asked in the exam.
Usually, each MCQ is of one mark. On the other hand, the marking scheme for subjective-type questions may vary from section to section. Students need to secure at least 33% marks in each subject to clear the exam.

Each paper of MPBSE 10th exam consist 100 marks. Out of which, 75 marks is for theory exam and 25 marks is for internal assessment/practicals. The students will be required to secure 24.75 Marks out of 75 marks (theory paper) to clear the exam.
Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education prescribe the MPBSE class 10 exam pattern in the form of sample paper. MP Board class 10 exams are held in offline mode. The students are required to write the exam in pen and paper mode. To write the MPBSE class 10 exam, all the students are given two types of answer sheets.
