According to the official updates, candidates who are eligible and registered for UP Board 10th and 12th Compartmental Exam 2020 need to appear for the exams on October 3, 2020.

UP Board 10th and 12th Compartmental Exam 2020 Datesheet: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) officially announced the dates for UP Board Compartmental Exam 2020. According to the official updates, candidates who are eligible and registered for UP Board 10th Compartment Exam 2020 and UP Board 12th Compartmental Exam 2020 need to appear for the exams on October 3, 2020. However, considering the ongoing pandemic situation, the Parishad decided to hold exams in two different sessions in a staggered format. Considering the official datesheet, UP Board Compartmental Exams 2020 will be held in the morning session from 8 AM to 11:15 AM, and 2 PM to 5:15 PM.

This year, UP Board / UPMSP will be holding the compartmental exam for UP Board 12th students as well. This is the first time that UP Board 12th Compartmental Exam 2020 will be held. Previously, the state board use to hold compartmental exams for Class 10 / High School students only. However, from this year onwards, students from both UP 12th i.e. Intermediate and UP 10th i.e. High School, who secured compartmental results or those who have failed in less than 2 subjects will be eligible to appear in the Compartmental Exams.

UPMSP released COVID-19 guidelines for compartmental exams

UP Board is all set to hold compartmental exams amid the on-going pandemic situation. In the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak, the Board released several important guidelines to ensure the safety of students and staff members during the conduct of the exam. UP Board 10th and 12th Compartmental Exam 2020 will be held in strict adherence to the precautionary measures and SOPs released by the board. Students are advised to reach their exam centres 45 minutes in advance to avoid any last-minute complications. No student will be allowed to enter the examination hall without wearing a mask. The board also asked authorities to sanitise examination centres a day before the exam and to take all necessary precautions maintaining the government guidelines against COVID-19 spread.
