The exam comprises 6 subjects namely Hindi, English, Mathematics, Science, Home Science, and Social Science. The total mark of the UP 10th Board exam is 600. 100 marks is distributed in each subject. In other papers, 80 marks are distributed for theory exams while a maximum of 20 marks are given for Internal Assessments.

Students need to appear for 6 subject papers in UPMPS exams. UP Board 10th Class subjects include Music, Agriculture, Home Science, Human Science, Maths, Commerce, Social Science, Computer, Science, and Languages. Total marks of UPMSP class 10 exams is 600. To clear the exam, the students are required to score at least 33% marks in the exam. The students must note that the practical exam is held only in Science paper.
