UP Board High School passing marks are as follows:

The UP Board 10th exams evaluation is done on the basis of the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) pattern. UP Board 10th Result mark sheet comprises grades for each subject based on the UP Board 10th grading system. Under CCE, all the theory exams carry a weightage of 70 marks while the practical and internal tests carry 30 marks. About UP Board 10th
The UP Board was set up in the year 1921 as an act of the United Provinces Legislative Council. Headquartered in Prayagraj, which was originally called Allahabad, the Board is Asia’s largest board in terms of the number of students appearing every year. The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (Board of High School and Intermediate Education Uttar Pradesh) is the state government an autonomous body and is the examining authority for the examinations of Class 10. The Education Council is the highest institution in the world to conduct high school (10th class) examinations. At present, there are more than 22,000 secondary schools recognized by the board and it conducts the examinations and prepares results of nearly 58 lakh students.
The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) conducts High School Class 10 exams in March every year. The state-level exam is offered in pen and paper mode at various centers across Uttar Pradesh. The UP Board Class 10 examinations are conducted for 6 main subjects namely Hindi, English, Mathematics, Science, Drawing, and Social Sciences. For Female candidates, Home science is available as an optional paper.

Every year, around 29 lakh of students appear for UP 10th exams. In, a total of 55,08,206 students have applied for UPMSP Board Examinatin 2025 Class 10 and 12, down from 58,84,634 the year 2024. In 2023, a total of 31,16,487 students registered for the UP 10th exam. Out of the registered students, 2,08,953 students did not appear for the UPMSP Matric exams. As per the officials, UP Board 10th result 2024 had an overall pass percentage of 89.55%. A total of 86.05% of boys passed the exam while 93.40% of girls cleared the exam.
