The National Testing Agency is all set to conduct the Stage 2 Examination for NIFT. The dates have been announced for B.Des, B.Des (NLEA), B.Des Artisans and Pg Programmes. Read in detail to know more.
NIFT Stage 2 Dates
NTA has announced the Stage 2 examination schedule for the NIFTEE 2025 entrance test. Following the declaration of Stage 1 results on April 24, 2025, shortlisted candidates will now appear for Stage 2 exams scheduled to be held on Sunday, June 8, 2025, for various UG and PG programmes.

- B.Des (Bachelor of Design): A Situation Test will be conducted in 18 cities across India. The test will evaluate the candidate’s skills in model-making, material handling, creativity, and innovation.

B.Des (NLEA): Candidates will undergo a Studio Test and Personal Interview at designated test centres on the same day.

B.Des (Artisans): The Artisan Skill Test, along with the Personal Interview, will also take place on June 8, 2025.

B.F.Tech (NLEA): A Technical Ability Test (TAT) in OMR-based paper format and a Personal Interview will be conducted as per schedule.

PG Programmes (M.Des, M.F.M., M.F.Tech):
Shortlisted candidates will be called for Personal Interviews in Delhi starting from May 26, 2025, and interviews will continue over 8–10 days. Exact venue details will be mentioned in the Interview Call Letter issued to candidates.
Admit Card and Candidate Instructions:
The NIFT Admit Cards for Stage 2 examinations will be made available shortly on the official NIFT entrance portal. The admit card will carry important details such as exam date, reporting time, venue, and test-specific instructions.

NIFT admit card 2025 is a mandatory document to appear in the design entrance exam. Candidates need to positively carry their valid admit card for NIFT Entrance Exam to their test centre, otherwise they will not be allowed to appear for the design entrance exam. Note that the security personnel at the exam centre will check the documents carried by the candidate, including the admit and photo id cards. In fact, the candidate must safely preserve the admit card until the admission process is over. It is because the candidate may be asked to produce the admit card during the counseing and seat-allotment process.

The admit card for the NIFT 2025 exam has to be downloaded online from the NTA NIFT admission portal - exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT. In.
Note that hard copies of the admit card will not be sent to the candidate.
So, the candidate needs to log-in to the admit card download portal using their log-in details and download the admit card pdf. After downloading the admit card, the candidate needs to take a printout. On the day of the exam, the candidate will have to display the admit card along with a valid photo id proof in the original. No candidate will be allowed inside the exam venue without the admit card.
Also, note that digital copies of the admit card will not be accepted.
