IIT Kanpur participated in Incubators Connect Program in Germany

The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK)’s technology business incubator, Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre (SIIC), participated in the prestigious Incubators Connect Program organized by DWIH New Delhi. This transformative weeklong initiative, which took place in Germany from June 4th to June 9th, brought together directors and managers of incubators from both India and Germany. With SIIC, IIT Kanpur among the prominent participants, the program successfully facilitated the convergence of approximately 15 incubators, technology transfer offices (TTOs), and entrepreneurship-focused institutions.

The primary objective of this influential program was to stimulate vibrant dialogues surrounding the internationalization of business incubators, while also laying the groundwork for stronger collaborations between the two nations. Showcasing its ambitious nature, the program unfolded across three dynamic locations: Karlsruhe, Braunschweig, and Berlin. Participants were completely immersed in a comprehensive experience that included visits to esteemed institutions, interactive workshops, and fruitful engagements with policymakers and relevant organizations.
