IIT Roorkee and Futurense Launch India’s First Advanced Certification in AI Engineering and AIOps

IIT Roorkee, in collaboration with Futurense, has launched India’s first Advanced Certification programme in AI Engineering and AIOps.

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has partnered with Futurense to launch a first-of-its-kind Advanced Certification in AI Engineering and AIOps. Designed specifically for working professionals and engineers, this 9-month program aims to equip participants with the skills required to lead large-scale AI innovation.

The program is set to begin in August 2025, with applications opening in June 2025. It will be delivered in a hybrid format, featuring live online weekend sessions and an optional 3-day campus immersion at IIT Roorkee. The total Advanced Certification in AI Engineering and AIOps program fee is INR 1.25 lakhs + GST.

Who is eligible for IIT Roorkee Advanced Certification in AI Engineering and AIOps?

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. While a minimum of one year of professional experience is preferred, freshers with relevant certifications are also encouraged to apply. All candidates are required to clear a mandatory pre-screening test to assess their readiness for the program.

This program is ideally suited for AI engineers, cloud developers, and MLOps experts aiming to enhance their skills. It is also beneficial for data scientists looking to transition into generative AI roles, as well as DevOps professionals seeking to add AI expertise to their toolkit. Founders and entrepreneurs building AI-first products will find the program valuable, along with technology professionals interested in cross-skilling across AI and cloud technologies.

IIT Roorkee Advanced Certification in AI Engineering and AIOps Curriculum

Participants will gain hands-on experience with leading tools such as LangChain, AutoGen, Hugging Face, Docker, Kubernetes, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and MLflow. The program also covers agent-based systems, vector databases, prompt engineering, and cloud-native orchestration.

The curriculum includes modules on:

• LLM development and deployment
• AIOps for observability and rollback
• Ethical AI design and compliance frameworks
• Real-world use cases in finance, operations, compliance, and SaaS

This industry-first certification is India’s first to focus on cloud-native GenAI and Agentic AI deployment, bridging the AI implementation gap across sectors. Participants will gain practical skills in designing, fine-tuning, and deploying LLMs and full-stack AI systems on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP making them job-ready for today's market.
