The NTA announced the NEET application correction dates 2026. The NEET correction window was available from March 12 to 14, 2026. Candidates could make changes by logging in with the required details.

Yes, Aadhaar card is mandatory to make APAAR ID for NEET 2026 registration. The APAAR is linked to the Aadhaar number of candidates.

Candidates were facing issues while applying online on the NTA NEET website. The website server was crashing. Hence, the NTA extended the registration deadline till March 11.

The APAAR ID is not mandatory for NEET UG 2026 exam. It is an optional documents required for NEET 2026 application form. However, having the APAAR ID makes it easier for applicants to apply for the exam.

Candidates must ensure that the personal information match with their Aadhaar details. The following steps have to be followed to generate the APAAR ID:

·         Visit the official website of the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC)

·         Click on 'My Account' and further select 'Student'

·         Click 'Sign Up' and enter mobile number, address and Aadhaar Card details to create DigiLocker account, or click on 'Sign in' in case account already exists

·         Give consent to share Aadhaar card details with ABC for KYC verification by clicking on 'I Agree' checkbox

·         Enter the academic details

·         Submit the form to generate APAAR ID.

In NEET 2026 application process, the NTA has introduced the live photo capture facility for candidates. Those applying online for the exam need to capture their live photograph as per the given guidelines-

• Switch on the camera or connect the webcam to the device used for filling the NEET form. In case if the device does not support the webcam, then scan the QR code on the right side of the form.
• The background should be light-coloured.
• The NTA will match the captured live photograph with the Aadhaar database.

If candidates submit the NEET application form with an incorrect email address, they will not receive email notifications. NTA does not allow candidates to change or correct their email addresses in the application correction window.

Once the NEET registration process is completed and the login credentials are generated, candidates are advised to save and preserve those for future usage. NTA advises candidates to check internet connection while filling up the application form. Yes, it is necessary to correct your father's name in the Aadhaar card as per your Class 10 mark sheet before filling the NEET application form. Since the National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the notification mentioning the mandate of Aadhaar Card for the application process. NTA has stated, "Aspirants are advised to ensure that their Aadhaar details (especially their name and date of birth as per 10th passing certificate), including facial recognition data, are up to date for an optimal experience during registration process and verification processes.
