NEET Application Form 2026: The NTA NEET UG 2026 registration was carried out from February 8 to March 11, 2026. To apply for the exam, candidates first needed to register at neet.nta.nic.in, fill the online form, upload the documents and pay the application fees to apply for the exam. Candidates needed to capture live photo at the time of filling the application form.

The NTA opened the application form correction window of NEET UG 2026 on March 12, 2026. The NEET correction window 2026 was available till March 14, 2026. Candidates who submitted their forms could use the NEET UG correction window 2026 to edit the fields.

NEET Application Form Correction 2026

NTA opened the NEET application correction facility for the registered candidates. Only those candidates who submitted the NEET application form 2026 by paying the requisite application fee within the stipulated date were eligible to avail of the NEET application form correction facility. Take a look at the process to make the NTA NEET form corrections.

  • Visit neet.nta.nic.in.
  • Log in with the NEET 2026 registration details.
  • Click on the tab Correction in Application Form.
  • Read the instructions.
  • Enter the OTP sent to the registered mobile number for verification.
  • Make the necessary changes, provided the fields are editable and allowed for the candidates based on their Aadhaar verification status.
  • Click on save.
  • Download the updated application form.

There is no additional fee to make corrections in the NEET registration 2026. However, there are a few fields which can not be edited. These fields included name, email ID and mobile number.

NEET Form 2026: How to Capture Live Photo?

This year, the NTA introduced the live photo capture on the NEET UG 2026 form. While uploading the documents, candidates first needed to capture their live photos and then attach the other required documents. Candidates need to ensure that they follow the NTA NEET guidelines for live photo capture otherwise their form may get rejected. Candidates need to use the process given below to capture live photos-

  • Switch on the cameras or connect the webcam to the device used for filling the NEET application form.
  • If the device does not support the webcam, then candidates need to scan the QR code on the right side of the form for the same.
  • There should be light-coloured background.

Once the NEET registration process is completed and the login credentials are generated, candidates are advised to save and preserve those for future usage. In case candidates are unable to login, they should first check whether the NEET application number, password and security pin or captcha entered are correct or not. In case either of the information is wrong, it will not be possible to login. In that case, they have to click on the Forgot Your Password or Forgot Your Application tabs and retrieve it either through Security Question or through Reset Link sent to their registered email address. In case of retreiving the NEET application number, they have to enter their names, email address and the Security Pin and submit. The application number will be sent to their registered email address.

Check whether you had completed the fill up process or not. If you had filled up and your application is complete then you must had application number. You can check from another device. You go to any internet cafe and give your application number password date of birth and required details and get your application form print out.

Candidates can face problem while filling the NEET application form or while paying the application fee. This may be because of the server issue or high traffic on the website. NTA advises candidates to check internet connection while filling up the application form. Yes, it is necessary to correct your father's name in the Aadhaar card as per your Class 10 mark sheet before filling the NEET application form. Since the National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the notification mentioning the mandate of Aadhaar Card for the application process. NTA has stated, "Aspirants are advised to ensure that their Aadhaar details (especially their name and date of birth as per 10th passing certificate), including facial recognition data, are up to date for an optimal experience during registration process and verification processes. This can be done at the nearest Aadhaar Enrollment/Update Center." Also, this year, the Aadhaar number will be used to auto-fill the NEET application form to reduce manual errors. Hence, it is all the more important to correct personal and educational details in the Aadhaar Card before the application process commencement.

Candidates need to complete the NEET application form in thirty minutes of logging in to the registered account. One should save the application form pages after completing them. Applicants should keep all the information ready before registering for the exam before the session expires.

The NEET 2026 exam will be held on May 3, 2026. The NTA will conduct the NEET UG 2026 exam offline in pen and pape mode from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm.

Admissions to the BAMS course at BHU is based on the AYUSH counselling process. The lowest NEET score accepted for the BAMS course for admission at BHU was 30748 for the General AI category.
