In the wake of COVID-19 pandemic, IBPS has issued new exam day guidelines. It is mandatory to have Aarogya Setu app installed on the mobile phones of candidates. Wearing of masks is compulsory.
COVID-19 Pandemic: New Guidelines Issued
Before appearing for the exam, read the new guidelines below:
Reporting time
- Different reporting time will be printed for a set of candidates
- Candidate must report much before the reporting time to avoid crowding
- Candidates must follow the time-slot mentioned on IBPS PO admit card
- Entry into the exam venue will be provided based on the individual’s time slot only
- Candidates should report atleast 15 minutes before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card
Lab Number and Roll Number
- The roll number and lab number of candidates will not be displayed outside the exam venue
- These will be informed to candidates individually at the time of entry and post verification of admit card and photo-identity proof
Items Allowed
Candidates will be permitted to carry only the following items to the IBPS PO exam centre.
- Wearing of mask is compulsory
- Gloves
- Personal transparent water bottle
- Personal hand sanitiser (50 ml)
- Simple pen
- Exam related documents such as admit card, ID card in original as well as its photocopy, etc
- The admit card should be brought with the photocopy of the photo ID stapled with it
- Original photo ID should be brought for verification
Social Distancing
- Candidate should maintain a safe social distance with one another
- Candidate should stand in the row as per the instructions provided at venue
Aarogya Setu App
- Candidates must have installed Aarogya Setu app installed on their mobile phones
- The Aarogya Setu app must show candidate’s risk factor
- Candidates will have to display this status to the security guard at the entry into the exam venue
- In case a candidate does not have a smartphone, they will have to bring in a signed declaration as per the format given in IBPS PO notification and show the same to the security guard
- Candidates with moderate or high-risk status on Aarogya Setu will not be allowed entry
- In case any of the responses in declaration suggest COVID-19 infection/symptoms, candidates will not be permitted inside the exam venue
- After Aarogya Setu status is display at the entry gate, candidates are required to switch off their mobile phones and deposit it at the designated place
Temperature Check
- The temperature of all candidates will be checked with the thermo guns at the entry point
- In case, candidates have above normal temperature or display any symptoms will not be allowed
Candidate Registration
- The registration of candidates will be done through photo capture
- The photograph will be taken while the candidates are standing
- Seat number will be given to candidates
Management of rough sheets and ID proofs
- Rough sheets will be kept at the desk of each candidate
- No additional sheets will be provided during the exam
- Candidates must follow the instructions related to dropping the admit card with the ID proof in the boxes provided at the exit of lab/venue
- Candidate must drop the rough sheets in the boxes provided at the exit of lab/venue while leaving
- The drop-box for the rough sheets will be different from that of admit card box
Post Exam Monitoring
- On completion of a shift, candidates should move out in an orderly manner
- They will not be allowed to overcrowding at the entry gate or inside the exam venue

Yes, the IBPS had released the IBPS PO main admit card 2025 on October 1. The candidates can download their admit card to know their exam centre, exam date and shift timing.

The IBPS PO cutoff is the minimum qualifying mark for the exam, and it varies as per the categories. It matters because of the difficulty level of the exam, number of candidates, overall performance, and so on. The expected IBPS PO Prelims exam cutoff is given below:
