IBPS PO exam day guidelines 2025 for the prelims exam released by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). The IBPS PO Prelims exam 2025 is on August 23 and 24. The exam conducting body has formulated certain protocols for the exam. Candidates need to abide by the IBPS PO exam day guidelines such as dress code, documents required to carry, stationery items that are needed during the exam and many more. Photo-Identity Proof
- The accepted photo-identity proof is PAN Card/Passport/Permanent Driving License/Voter’s Card/Bank Passbook with photograph/photo identity proof issued by a Gazetted Officer (on official letterhead)/Photo Identity proof issued by a People’s Representative (on official letterhead)/ Identity Card issued by a recognised College/University/Aadhar Card/E-Aadhar Card with a photograph/Employee ID/Bar Council Identity card with the photograph)
- Ration Card and Learner’s Driving License are not accepted as valid ID proof

IBPS PO Exam Centre
- The details regarding IBPS PO exam centres are mentioned on the admit card
- Candidates must visit the exam centre one day before the exam to confirm the location
- Late comers will not be allowed to enter the exam hall
- Travelling allowance will not be provided to candidates
Items allowed inside exam hall
Candidates must bring ball-point pen, ink stamp pad, and glue
Items Not allowed inside exam hall
- Items that are not allowed inside the exam hall are textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, geometry/pencil box, plastic pouch, calculator, scale, writing pad, pen drives, log table, electronic pen/scanner
- Any communication device such as mobile phone, bluetooth, earphones, microphone, pager, health band, etc. are not allowed
- Other items, such as goggles, handbags, hair-pin, hair-band, belt, cap, etc. are not allowed
- Watch/Wrist watch, the camera is not allowed
- Any metallic item, eatable item opened or packed are not allowed
- Candidates are advised not to wear ornaments such as rings, earrings, nose-pin, chains/necklaces, pendants, badges, brooch, etc.
