CTET 2020-21 has been held today, check analysis and candidates’ reaction for CTET paper I and paper II below.
CTET 2020 was conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on January 31 in two shifts, paper I from 9:30 AM-12 Noon and paper II from 2:00-4:30 PM today. CTET paper I and paper II are for two different levels, paper I is for primary level, while paper II is for upper primary level. Both the papers were conducted in offline mode.
CTET Paper-I Review by Candidates
The CTET paper-I has 150 objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs) of 150 marks. The paper had four sections and candidates had to complete the exam in a duration of 150 minutes. There was no negative marking in the exam.
As per feedback received from the candidates, the paper was easy, there was no major change in pattern and difficulty level of the exam, however, few candidates found the maths section calculative and lengthy. Let us see what candidates have to say about CTET paper I:
Avinanda, she appeared for both paper I and paper II, feels the paper I was Easy. Difficulty level was just like the other years and there was no major changes in the exam. A lot of questions came from pedagogy section, Maths section was a little calculative, apart from that, most of the paper was very easy.
As per Sharmi Roy, the questions were easier than previous year paper. She is very confident about passing the exam with a good score. She thinks the paper was a little calculative and lengthy but with good preparation one can easily score well in the CTET paper I.
Saikat Ghose, who appeared for CTET 2020 for the first time, finds the paper was easy. There was no major change in exam pattern or the level of the paper. He thinks the mathematics section was lengthier than other sections, this section was a little more calculative that took more time to complete. As per him, candidates would find the EVS section difficult if not prepared well.
As per Munish, who is a mathematics student, the level of the paper was standard, neither very difficult, not very easy. He found the Maths section the easiest and he faced hurdle in solving the English part, however, his overall experience was good.
As stated by Mukul Debnath, The level of the paper was medium. He found the English section difficult as he is weak in the section, His second language was Bengali that went very well. His Maths section went also very well and he is expecting to score above 90.

Select Exam Centre City Preferences
In the application form, you'll find a section “Choice of Examination Centres” where you can select multiple preferred exam cities (usually up to 4 choices) in order of preference.
These must be different cities

Yes, the degree from Indira Gandhi National Open University is valid for CTET and other government jobs also. Candidates can get admission after clearing the IGNOU BEd Entrance Test.
