CTET Science Previous Year Questions with Answers
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) organizes the CTET exam at two levels- Paper 1 and Paper 2. In CTET Paper 2, multiple-choice questions are asked from Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I, Language-II, Mathematics and Science or Social Studies/Social Sciences. Candidates who choose Mathematics and Science subject in CTET Paper 2 need to attempt a total of 30 questions on the Science subject alone. The CTET Science subject comprises 30 questions from the prescribed Paper 2 syllabus. As per the CTET Paper 2 Science syllabus, 20 questions are asked on content such as food, materials, the world of the living, moving things, people and ideas, how things work, natural phenomena, natural resources, etc. and 10 questions are on pedagogical issues such as nature and structure of sciences, understanding and appreciating science, remedial teaching, etc.
Candidates need to attempt the questions from both languages in the CTET exam. The CTET Language-I and Language-II sections are compulsory in nature. Each Language section carries 30 marks and 30 multiple choice questions (MCQs).

Yes, you can apply for CTET Paper 1 only if you make sure that you meet the minimum teacher education requirement for Classes 1 to 5.

The major difference between CTET and UPTET is that when candidates clear the CTET exam, it provides a national-level eligibility certificate that can be used across India, whereas clearing the UPTET exam provides a state-level eligibility certificate that is only valid within Uttar Pradesh state.

CTET Notifications
The CTET question paper is available as a test booklet during the exam. The question paper contains the multiple choice questions in two languages- Hindi/ English and the language chosen by the candidate.
