CTET result is declared by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on the official website of the teaching entrance exam. Candidates can view their result for CTET exam by providing their roll number and date of birth.

As part of CTET result, candidates are not informed only about the marks secured by them in the teacher eligibility test but they are also informed about their qualifying status. CTET 2018 scorecard includes information about a candidate’s overall aggregate as well as his/ her score in individual subjects.

CTET 2018 results is expected to be declared in the month of January. Candidates can view CTET 2018 dates here.

In order to check their CTET 2018 result, aspirants need to first of all login on the official website of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) and thereafter click on the ‘Result’ tab. After clicking on the CTET result tab/ link, aspirants need to provide their roll number as well as date of birth. After filling all these details candidates need to click on the ‘Submit’ button. Next, candidates will be able to view their CTET result and they should definitely download and take a clear print of their result for Central Teacher Eligibility Test 2018.

  • Total marks obtained in CTET Paper
  • Overall Percentage of marks.

CTET 2018 Qualifying Marks

Aspirants need to get minimum 90 marks out of a total of 150 marks in each subject to qualify Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). The qualifying marks for CTET exam is 60%.

Validity of CTET 2018 Certificate

The validity of CTET qualifying certificate in order to be appointed as a teacher is seven years from the date of declaration of CTET result for all category candidates.

Candidates are informed that there is no restriction on the number of times they can get a CTET Certificate. Thus, any candidate who has already qualified CTET exam can appear for the teacher eligibility test again simply to improve their score.

Candidates can demand for a duplicate copy of their CTET marks statement or eligibility certificate by sending a Demand Draft (DD) in favour of “Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education” such that it is payable at Delhi and is drawn from a nationalised bank. The fee to be paid for a duplicate marksheet is as mentioned below:

CTET exam is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in order to shortlist aspirants for the post of teachers from Classes I to VIII. As part of CTET, candidates can appear for two papers. Aspirants who want to become teachers for Classes I to V need to give Paper-I whereas those who want to teach Classes VI to VIII needs to give Paper-II.

CTET pattern is such that candidates need to attempt multiple choice questions from subjects such as Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I (compulsory), Language II (compulsory), Mathematics and Environmental Studies. The exam pattern for CTET is different for Paper-I and Paper-II.

According to the NCTE notification, candidates require 60% or more to pass the CTET examination. The minimum marks required by a candidate being a General category to qualify the CTET exam is 90 out of 150 and for SC, ST, OBC and PwD is 82 out of 150.
