Chandigarh University BTech course is offered across many specialisations. These are Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, etc. Chandigarh University BTech admissions are entirely entrance-based. The students get to select a wide variety of BTech specialisations, which are popularly offered in association with IBM and TCS.
Chandigarh University conducts a university-level entrance test, CUCET, for BTech admission. CU also accepts JEE Main scores for scholarship purposes. At Chandigarh University students can study a dual degree of Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) + Master of Engineering (M.E.) for a duration of five years. As per the eligibility requirements of this course, students need to pass Class 12 with a minimum of 50% aggregate with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and one additional subject from Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science/ Biology. Admissions will be given to those who have a valid score of CUCET. This integrated course is offered across eight specialisations, of which three are Industry-Sponsored progammes, that are offered in collaboration with IBM and Virtusa.
The BTech CSE programme of Chandigarh University include subjects related to the field of Computer Science. Students enroled in this programme get to study different concepts of programming languages and more. To make students industry ready, there are both theory and practical subjects in the curriculum.
