Chandigarh University - Review by student.

Placements: This is the new course which is launched by CU. Till now my experience has been very good. In other CSE branch, placements are good. The average package is 6 LPA and students are satisfied with it. Also, we have to pay a fee of Rs. 11,000 or Rs. 12,000 from 3 semesters for DCDP to appear in placements.

Infrastructure: Hostel is very good and we will feel secure and safe. They will provide very good quality food at Rs 1,22,000 for 5 sister rooms. Washrooms are very clean. Every floor has its own warden and students are very helpful. But one con is that we will be staying with an unknown student.

Faculty: College exams always bring a mixture of excitement and nerves. Studying hard definitely plays off, especially when the professors explain things clearly. Two mid-terms and a final keep us on our toes throughout the semester. It is a good way to really learn the materials. Faculty members support the whole process smoothly.

Other: The university fests are always a last, with so much to do and see. The concerts are definitely a highlight, bringing in some great music. I also love the energy of the treasure hunts, and running around campus with friends. The food stalls are another big draw, offering all sorts of tasty treats. Overall, the fest is a great way to de-stress and have some fun.

It is a decent college with excellent infrastructure, hostel, and events.

Placements: 70-80 percent of students got placed from the 2025 batch. The highest package offered is 40 LPA on-campus and 1.7 crore off-campus (international). The top recruiting companies for our course are Microsoft, Amazon, and IBM. 60 percent of students got internships. The top role offered is a computer data analyst. Overall, it is a decent college.

Infrastructure: There is one area where the university truly justifies its fees. It has a world-class infrastructure. While the lectures might be hit-or-miss, the environment in which we study is nothing short of exceptional. The hostel food is good. Medical facilities are available. It has a good sports ground, and the food quality is also decent.

Faculty: The academic framework of this course is designed for those who truly want to be pushed. It is intellectually demanding, sometimes exhausting, but undeniably effective at building a solid professional foundation. The exam season is very hectic, but it goes on smoothly.
