I am satisfied with the placements and infrastructure of our college.

Placements: Our college provides excellent placements. Almost all students are placed. The average salary package offered is 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Wipro, etc., visit our campus. Almost all students get internships. The highest salary package offered is 58 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA.

Infrastructure: The campus is excellent. Projectors are available in classrooms. Air-conditioned systems are available in labs. There are proper internet connections and good systems. Hostels are good. Air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned rooms are available in hostels. The mess is good. Sports activities are good. Badminton courts, table tennis courts, etc., are available.

Faculty: All teachers are good and well-qualified. Most of them are Ph.D. holders. Exams are average. There are three exams per semester. If students get arrears in any subject, they can clear it by paying Rs. 6,000 in the subsequent semester or summer semester.

Other: Our college organises technical and cultural fests. There are many clubs in which students can actively participate.

Review of Vellore Institute of Technology - Chennai Campus.

Placements: Almost all the students get placed. Around 90% of the total students get placement. Almost everyone gets the internship unless they have any backlogs. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Amazon, Infosys, etc., visit the campus. The average salary package offered is around 7 LPA.

Infrastructure: Hostels are decent and clean most of the time. Mess is divided in 3 types, vegetarian, non-vegetarian, and special. I opt for special mess which provides better dinner and breakfast which are important. Both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned hostel rooms are available and you can chose accordingly.

Faculty: All faculty members are mostly who completed their PhDs or are doing research work. Semester exams are quite tough though but I think the hectic schedule makes students industry-ready. The teaching quality is very good. The pass percentage might be around 75-80%.

Our college is decent if you want to join it.

Placements: There is placement training right from the first semester itself, so you don't have to be worried about placement preparation.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of labs and classrooms is good. Though you don't get Wi-Fi in classrooms, computers in labs are connected to ethernet ports, and the Wi-Fi speed is good. There is no question about the quality of equipment in labs. The food in the hostel is above average compared to the food in other colleges most of the time. There is a badminton court inside the hostel. There are table tennis, carrom, and chess boards too. There is a night canteen in the hostel. The Wi-Fi in the hostel is not very good about 5 Mbps and it also stops at 12 at the night.

Faculty: Our faculty members are educated and are good to you if you are good to them. They have control over your grades. The curriculum is up-to-date and keeps changing according to the current requirements. There are too many exams compared to other colleges, but one of the assessments is open-book. Apart from this, even assessments have an impact on your grades.

Other: The festival is good and well organised. The whole campus is vibrant, and everyone is in a good mood during the festival. There are a lot of events to participate in just for fun or if you want to learn something.

It is a great college with ample opportunities.

Placements: In this college, placements are good. The placements are 100% according to the statistics provided by VIT. There is no such differentiation in placements of both Vellore and Chennai campuses are considered. They get equal opportunities and the placements for both the campuses happen together at Vellore. If students work on their skills they will land high-paying jobs. It all comes down to their skills in the end. This college will provide students the opportunities, and it is upto students whether they want to grab them or not. Even in IITs and NITs, students work on their skills to land a job.

Infrastructure: The campus and hostel are very well maintained. There are numerous facilities. The mess food is also good, and if students do not like, then they can always go to the food park and canteens. It has a very modern library. The sports and the medical facilities are also great. Wi-Fi is available, an students get 75 GB per month.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, most of them have done their Ph.D. from abroad or at top IITs. They are very helpful. The exams are not difficult. It depends on the kind of faculty members they choose. Every teacher has a different approach to setting and evaluating a paper. At VIT, students have the liberty to choose their faculty from the second semester and the subjects they want to study.

Other: Students will get a lot of opportunities here be it academic or extracurricular. The teachers are always there to help students, and all grow in every possible way.

It provides good faculty members.

Placements: Around 70 students are placed, and passing students is more. All students will get placed after their 4 years completion. The yearly package depends on our CGPA and all will get even they passed out, because with the skill and talent all will get placed because of well-trained faculty members by our college.

Infrastructure: In this college, Wi-Fi is good, and the infrastructure is also good. All the facilities are good in this college. The classrooms are good. Sports, games, and mess facilities are fine, and the hostel is also good. VIT ensures smooth functioning and placements activities on the campus.

Faculty: It provides excellent teaching and the curriculum is good. They are knowledgeable. The training placed in the best companies, both national and international companies are placing the students. The food served is very good.
