JEE Advanced 2018 results were declared on June 10 at 10 am on the official website. Soon after the results were announced, the names of JEE Advanced 2018 toppers too started pouring in. This year, Rank 1 in JEE Advanced 2018 has been secured by Pranav Goyal from Roorkee zone. Sahil Jain and Kalash Gupta have secured the second and third rank in JEE Advanced 2018 respectively.

Pranav Goyal, who secured an AIR 4 in JEE Mains 2018, has obtained 318 marks out of 360 in JEE Advanced 2018.

This year, a total of 11,279 seats are being offered in the IITs. Around 1, 55,158 engineering aspirants appeared for Paper 1 and Paper 2 of JEE Advanced 2018. Out of these, a total of 18, 138 candidates have qualified the exam. Of the total number of students who qualified the exam, 2076 are female candidates.

Now that JEE Advanced 2018 results are declared, JoSAA 2018 counselling will commence soo. According to latest information, JoSAA 2018 counselling will begin from June 15. The official website of the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2018 was launched on June 6. Candidates should ideally try to solve at least 3 previous year JEE question papers per week. However, candidates can also increase the frequency of this to 5 to 6 papers per week, one month before the exam.

  • Candidates must have at least 75% aggregate marks in class 12 and SC, ST and PWD candidates must have atleast 65% marks.

No, your candidature will be rejected as you need to have minimum of 75% in class 12 to be eligible for admisison to the IITs, NIT, IIITs and GFTIs via the JoSAA counselling. Even if you pass JEE Advanced and JEE Main, of you do not have 75% minimum marks in class 12 boards you will no get admission
