Maharashtra HSC Exam Dates 2026: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) released the Maharashtra HSC Exam Dates 2026 on October 13, 2025. The Board will conduct the Maharashtra HSC exams 2026 between February 10 and March 18, 2026 while practical and viva, and internal assessments (along with project work) will take place from January 23 to February 9, 2026. The Board is expected to release the detailed Maharashtra HSC time table 2026 in the last week of October 2025 on the official website.

Students can find the tentative Maharashtra 12th timetable 2026 below. The exams are held in pen and paper format. The Maha HSC time table 2026 mentions the exam dates, days and timings, and general instructions for students. They must use it to prepare better for the exams.

A student will have to complete the paper within 3 hours. Earlier student was given 10 minutes extra time to read the question paper. But from now onwards, HSC student will be provided with an extra 10 minute at the end of the paper to complete it.

Students often use washroom for using unfair means and cheat in board exams, however, they must know that the invigilator can frisk them anytime during the exam duration. So, it is recommended to use washroom only when needed.

Q:   What if I get late in reaching the Maharashtra HSC exam centre?
A: 

Students are advised to reach the Maharashtra HSC exam centre at least half an hour before the commencement of exams. The exam timings are mentioned in the maha HSC hall ticket. In case a student gets late in reaching the exam centre, he/she must understand that they will not be given any extra time to write the exam. 

Thus, it is advised that students leave for the exam centre early considering the traffic or any other deterrent.

Yes, you can appear for the 12th improvement exam even if you're currently pursuing a Polytechnic course, but it depends on a few key factors related to your board and eligibility.
