The difficulty level of CEED exam is maintained by authorities over the years. However, most design aspirants share that if the difficulty level of all design entrance exams conducted for PG level courses is compared then CEED is slightly easier than the NID Entrance Exam. This is primarily because the drawing questions asked in NID DAT are considered to be tougher than those put forth in the CEED exam.
Rohit Ravindra Waghmare topped the CEED topper list 2025 with 82.38 marks out of 100.
CEED 2023 exam was topped by Khyati Rathor, who secured the AIR 1. She secured 68.85 marks in the exam, out of 100 marks. Simon George Cherian got the second position and scored 66.63 marks.

About CEED 2024
The CEED exam is an entrance exam that is conducted in computer-based mode. It is conducted to evaluate candidates' aptitude in the field of design and has two parts, Part A and B. Part A is conducted in online mode whereas Part B is an offline test. Candidates will have to complete Part A in 1 hour online and Part B in 2 hours offline.
Part A will have three types of questions: Numerical Answer Type (NAT), Multiple Select Questions (MSQ), and Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). Part B will have only one question that candidates will need to solve on paper. The question was set in such a manner that students could get involved in every manner and get a good boost to move on to the next question. The difficulty level was moderate and part B was a bit difficult. The second question which was human-animal interaction using the blocks mentioned in the question paper was a bit on the trickier side.

Another student, who appeared at CEED said that the question paper was lengthy and a few questions had printing errors so she had to wait for it to get rectified. The paper was difficult and time-consuming. The difficulty level of the question which had human-animal interaction using the blocks mentioned in the question paper was a bit on the difficult side.

Candidates can go through the previous year's analysis of the CEED exam 2023. This will give them a comprehensive idea of how the test was in the past year and what types of questions were asked.
As per the past year, The question paper for Part A was moderately difficult and Part B was easy to moderate. According to the CEED exam analysis 2023 of experts and students, the duration of Part A was one hour and Part B was 2 hours. Although the questions of Part A and Part B appear on the computer screen, only the answers to Part A should be entered into the computer and the answers to Part B should be given in the answer book provided by the invigilator.
