JEE Main 2013 Toppers

1. Anagh Prasad - Topper with a score of 345/360

  • Strictly follow what teachers suggest and teach.
  • Focus on chapter-wise preparations and do not deviate from the syllabus.
  • While studying only focus on studies rather than thinking about cracking the exam like most students do.
  • Do not take your studies as a burden. Always take it as a duty and enjoy while performing your duty! Burden always pressurizes one’s mind and most of the time breaks a person! Enjoy your studies to the fullest.
  • Prepare common topics with respect to only the advanced paper. This is because JEE Advanced has tougher questions and preparing for that covers the preparation for Mains.
  • Extra chapters can be done during Boards' preparation. There is no need to work for JEE Main separately. All chapters are equally important for the examination. Ample time should be spent on:

Physics: Waves, Optics, Electromagnetic Induction

Chemistry: p-block elements, isomerism, ionic equilibrium, thermodynamics

Mathematics: complex algebra, inverse trigonometry, conic sections, permutations and combinations, definite integrals.

  • Go through NCERT rigorously
  • Try to finish paper in 2hrs 45 mins.
  • Join a good test series.
  • Don't use calculators throughout XI-XII
  • Go through graphs and derivations properly in Physics.
