Is Aadhaar Card Mandatory in WBJEE 2026 application form?
In WBJEE application process, Aadhaar Card is not mandatory, but it can be used as an identification proof. WBEEB provides candidates other options for identification such as Voter ID, Passport, School ID, Ration Card with Photograph, 10th admit card and more. No Aadhaar number is required for WBJEE registration.

WBJEE application form will not be released offline. Students will have to fill and submit application form online. Offline forms will not be available. Print out of application form does not have to be submitted to authorities.
WBJEE application correction facility will be open for all registered candidates. Online facility can be used to edit/correct details submitted in application form. However, students will not be able to edit all information. Since correction facility is a one-time facility, students are advised to be careful while making the corrections.

WBJEE 2026 Registration: Step by Step Document Requirement in Application Form
In every step of WBJEE application process 2026, candidates will be required to check their documents to see if they have filled correct information. Since basic details such as name, parent’s names, domicile and date of birth cannot be corrected after submission, they should refer to important documents while filling form.
Registration: During registration, candidates will have to upload their personal and contact details. Documents that will be needed during WBJEE registration are given below.
- Personal Details: ID Proof (Aadhaar Card/Voter ID/Passport/Ration Card with Photograph/Valid Govt. Identity with Photograph/School ID)
- Contact Details: Valid email address and mobile number
Filling of Application Form: While filling out application form, candidates have to provide details such as category and domicile details, sub category, income and academic information.
- Category and Domicile Details: Caste/Category and Domicile Certificate
- Sub-Category Details: TFW, PwD and Income Certificate (if applicable)
- Academic Details: 12th marksheet and admit card.
- Communication Details: Address proof such as Aadhaar Card or Voter ID
Uploading of Documents: In application form, candidates have to upload their scanned photograph and signature. If documents are not uploaded according to specifications, then form cannot be submitted.
Fee Payment: To make payment, candidates will have to enter their net banking, credit card or debit card details. Required details depends on payment source selected by candidates.
WBJEE application fee for General male candidates is INR 500, while for all female and reserved category male category candidates, it is INR 400. Reserved category female and general third gender candidates have to pay INR 300 as application fee. Finally, for reserved category third gender candidates, application fee is INR 200.
While filling WBJEE application form, documents have to be uploaded. Students have to upload their passport size photograph in application form. Dimension of scanned photograph should be 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm and file size should be between 10 KB to 100 KB.
According to WBJEE domicile requirement, students should have been staying in West Bengal continously for atleast 10 years, as of admission year. If not, then their parents should be permanent residents of state.
When will WBJEE Application Form 2026 be available?
WBJEE 2026 application process is expected to start in January 2026. Candidates will be able to fill application form online at wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee. To participate in exam, candidates have to provide required details, upload documents and pay fee. Multiple applications will not be accepted. Only registered and eligible candidates will be able to download WBJEE 2026 admit card to attempt entrance exam.
