GATE 2020 result out: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has declared the GATE 2020 result online on the GOAPS website i.e. http://gate.iitd.ac.in/ and it will be available very soon on the official website.
Candidates who have appeared in the exam on February 1, 2, 8, and 9 can check their GATE 2020 result on the website by logging in with the required credentials. Candidates must note that the GATE 2020 scorecard will be released only for the candidates who have qualified the exam.

Candidates must download their GATE result 2020 by visiting the official website or by clicking on the link given above. Candidates must qualify the GATE cutoff to pass the exam. The step-by-step process to check the GATE result is given below.

- On the new page enter your login credentials, open in a new tab.
- Enter the login credentials such as application number, password, and captcha code in the given space.
- GATE 2020 result will appear on the screen in PDF format.
- Candidates should check the details on the GATE result vary carefully.
- Download it and keep it safe for further use.
Out of 8,59,048 registered candidates, 6,84,903 (79.73%) candidates appeared for the GATE 2020 in eight sessions at 566 centres across 199 cities. The exam was conducted for 25 subjects/papers on aforesaid dates. The list of subject-wise toppers is given below along with their role numbers.
The IIT Delhi is announcing the GATE result nearly after a month of release of the answer key. GATE 2020 answer key was released on February 18 along with the question papers. Students were allowed to raise objections against the GATE 2020 answer key from February 19 till February 21. For every objection raised by a candidate, he/she needs to pay a fee of Rs 500 along with valid proof.

Yes, GATE is a mandatory entrance exam for CGC Landran M.Tech admissions. The selection of candidates for the M.Tech course is done during the PTU counseling. During the PTU counseling round, CGC Landran will look at the GATE score obtained by a candidate to decide their admission.
