The GATE 2025 Application Form Correction Window is now closed. The form correction facility was available from Oct 31 to Nov 20, 2024. Candidates registered for the GATE 2025 exam were able to access the application correction facility at the GOAPS portal. The correction link was available at the GATE’s official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in. Candidates have to log in using their credentials to exercise the form correction within the specified time.

GATE 2025 registrations started on August 28, 2024. The last dates to submit the application form without late fees were October 3, 2024, and October 11, 2024, with a late fee of INR 500. IIT Roorkee conducted the GATE 2025 exam on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025.
The dates for JoSAA counselling 2026 choice filling will be announced once the result of JEE Main 2026 is declared. Candidates can fill choices only during the choice filling period. Also, candidates need to lock their choices before the last date.
For students belonging to the General AI quota, most of the BTech branches remained open till the last round for admission at IIT Roorkee. The cutoffs of different branches vary across rounds and categories. Some of the BTech branches, such as CSE, ECE, Civil, and Mechanical, etc., reflected a rise in the last round, closing ranks as compared to initial rounds, indicating IIT Roorkee seats remained vacant till the last round for BTech admission. Whether the branch will remain open till the last round or not depends on the availability of seats allocated for each category.
