IIT Roorkee closed the GATE 2025 registration process on October 11, 2024. The GATE application form correction facility is active from Oct 31 to Nov 20, 2024. However, the GATE authorities officially announced the last date to submit the modifications, November 6, 2024. Read below to know more.

GATE 2025 Application Form Correction

The GATE 2025 Application Form Correction Window is now closed. The form correction facility was available from Oct 31 to Nov 20, 2024. Candidates registered for the GATE 2025 exam were able to access the application correction facility at the GOAPS portal. The correction link was available at the GATE’s official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in. Candidates have to log in using their credentials to exercise the form correction within the specified time. 

GATE 2025 registrations started on August 28, 2024. The last dates to submit the application form without late fees were October 3, 2024, and October 11, 2024, with a late fee of INR 500. IIT Roorkee conducted the GATE 2025 exam on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025.  

What is the GATE 2025 Application Form Correction Facility?

The GATE 2025 application correction facility allows students to edit and modify their GATE registrations. Candidates can change the following particulars in the form correction facility in the GATE application form - 

  • Change of category
  • GATE paper
  • Examination City
  • Add new test paper
  • Additional personal details

The authorities notified candidates about the corrections via e-mail or SMS. However, making changes to the GATE 2025 application form incurs additional charges. The form correction facility for GATE 2025 can be used at the GOAPS portal.
