Candidates who are not satisfied with the answers provided by NTA can submit their grievances online from the JEE Main official website jeemain.nta.nic.in up to April 13. Candidates also need to submit a proof supporting their claim while submitting their answer key challenge.
The National Testing Agency will release the JEE Main Answer Key 2025 Session 2 on April 11. Candidates can check JEE Main Answer Key 2025 on the official website of the exam. To download the answer key, candidates will need their login details. The facility to challenge JEE Main Answer key 2025 will be open up to April 13. Candidates who are not satisfied with the NTA answers in the JEE Mains 2025 Answer key can submit their grievances online from the website jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates also require to pay the processing charges of Rs 200/- per question.

The challenge of JEE Main final answer keys will be accepted online only through the link available on the website by paying processing charges. Payment of the fee is to be made through a credit/debit card (non-refundable). Candidates should note that NTA’s decision on the challenges shall be final and no further objections will be entertained.
In case the JEE Main answer key challenge raised by the candidate is accepted, the NTA will send an email to the registered email address mentioning the details of question for which the objections has been accepted. The NTA will also send the details of correct answer for the questions.
Objections raising fee in JEE Main answer key is INR 200 per question. You can pay it online using internet banking or credit/debit card. The exact fees to be paid depends on total questions selected for grievance.

How to Raise Objections/ Challenge JEE Main Answer Key 2025?
All the challenges against the JEE Main 2025 Answer Key will be accepted online. Follow the steps given below to challenge JEE Main answer keys online:
- Visit the official website of the exam
- Login using your registered credentials
- Navigate to the “Challenge of Answer Key” tab
- On clicking on the tab, candidates will have to select the question ID
- Then, candidates will be asked to insert the answer to the question they are challenging in the “claimed answer tab”
- Raise objections(s) if any. If not, then submit your JEE Main answer key objection form
After all the objections raised against JEE Main final answer key are submitted, an expert committee will scrutinize the challenges submitted by candidates. If the committee agrees to the objections raised, they will release the JEE Main final answer keys basis the correct answers submitted by candidates for challenging questions in the JEE Main question paper.

JEE Main 2025 Exam Pattern
NTA has released the JEE Main 2025 exam pattern. The exam will comprise two sections – Paper 1 and Paper 2. Both the sections will be of three hours duration. JEE Main Paper 1 and 2B will be held online while Paper 2A will be held in offline mode.
Candidates seeking admission to BTech programs at IITs, NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs will appear for JEE Main Paper 1. Aspirants are willing to seek admissions to BArch programs at NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs JEE Main Paper 2.
JEE Main Marking Scheme 2025
JEE Main 2025 Paper 1 will be of 300 marks. The question paper will be divided into three sections. Each section will carry a total of 25 questions. JEE Main Paper 2A for BArch will have a total of 77 questions in the Mathematics, Drawing and Aptitude test. The paper for Drawing will comprise 2 questions of 35 marks each. JEE Main Paper 2B will have a total of 100 questions.
NTA will release the JEE Main Answer key 2026 around 3 to 5 days after the conclusion of the exam. The link to check JEE Main answer key 2026 will be available on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in. candidates can download JEE Main answer key response sheet by login to the website. Candidates have to use JEE Main login available at he website for JEE Main answer key download.
Candidates must know that the JEE Main response sheet will have the record of the answers marked by the candidate in the exam. If any candidate thinks that the answers marked by him in actual exam and the one shown in JEE Main response sheet are different, the answers marked in response sheet will be final. Candidates can not challenge the JEE Main response sheet.
The NTA has released official JEE Main answer key 2025 session 1. NTA JEE Main 2025 Answer Key session 1 is available on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can login to the website and download their NTA answer key 2025 session 2. Coaching institutes have released the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 Answer key on memory-based question paper and the same can be checked here.
For every correct answer, candidates will be awarded +4 marks in both Paper 1 & Paper 2. However, there is a provision for negative marking in JEE Main exam. 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect response.
JEE Main Result 2025 Session 2
JEE Mains Session 2 Result 2025 will be announced by April 17. Candidates will be able to check their JEE Main 2025 results online on the official website of NTA. The result will mention details about the percentile score of candidates.

- Visit the official website of JEE Main
- Enter your roll number and date of birth to check your JEE Main result
- Once you submit the required details, JEE Main 2025 results will be displayed on the screen
- Download and take a printout of JEE Main 2025 scorecard
Candidates should preserve their JEE Main 2025 scorecards for future reference or till the time the admission process concludes.
