National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting JEE Main April/September session from September 1 to 6. According to a notification released by the NTA on the official website 8,58,273 (7,46,115 for BE/BTech) candidates have registered for the different papers conducted during the entrance exam. JEE Main 2020 Analysis for September Session: Paper-1

JEE Main Analysis 2020 Paper 1 (September 4)

JEE Main Analysis 2020 Paper 1 (September 3)

The question paper was comparitively tougher than the JEE Main January 2020 question paper. On the second day, Physics was again on the harder side. Check more details below:

Physics was comparatively tough, Chemistry was easy and Maths was moderate. Overall the level of question paper was moderate. Check more details below:

JEE Main September 2020 Paper 1 Expected Cut off 

JEE Main 2020 Analysis for January Session: Paper-1

National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting JEE Main January session from January 7, 2020 to January 9, 2020. According to a press release of NTA 11,18,673 (9,21,261 for BE/BTech; 1,38,409 for BArch; and 59,003 for BPlanning) candidates have registered for the examination. As per the students who appeared in the exam, most of them revealed that the JEE Main 2020 Paper 1 was of moderate difficulty level. Few of the students appeared in the exam also stated that the question paper was easy. For the majority of candidates appeared in the JEE Main, Chemistry was the easiest section, Physics was between easy to moderate level and the Mathematics was the toughest one. Students also said that though the Mathematics was formula-based and the questions in it were lengthier ones and also tricky.

Students who appeared in the exam last year as well gave a mixed reaction for JEE main 2020 Analysis. For few, the paper was difficult than the last year and or few, the paper was easier than the last year. For such candidates as well, The exam was of easy to moderate level.

JEE Main 2020 Paper 1 Dates

JEE Main 2020 Analysis for Paper 1 (January 7)

Candidates got extra sheets for rough work inside the exam hall. The level of question was easy than the last year. The organic part in chemistry was covered more from class 12. Check the subject wise analysis

Mathematics: Three questions were asked from Vector 3d, two questions from integration, three questions of function, three questions from binomial, one question from probability, three questions from conic section, questions of ellipse & parabola, area enclosed by parabola, Integers questions were difficult, questions of tangent & normal were asked.

Physics: Three to four questions from heat & thermo, two questions of modern physics, one question of optics, two questions of wave optics, one question of electrostatics, resistance related numerical, logic based questions asked, numerical based current distribution, questions of quantum number, carnott cycle question, question of adiabatic expansion & degree of freedom, projectile numerical, questions of Kinematics were asked.

Chemistry: Questions of dipole were asked, purest form of iron in commercial use was asked, Questions from inorganic and organics were asked in equal weightage. Most of the questions were from NCERT, no question from semi-conductor.
