The fourth session of JEE Main 2021 exam is scheduled to be conducted on August 26, 27, 31 and September 1, 2 at various centres across the country. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has already released the exam day instructions for JEE Mains 2021. The exam conducting authority has already released the JEE Main 2021 session 4 admit card on August 21. JEE Main 2021 session 4 will be conducted for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech), Paper-2A (B.Arch) and Paper-2B (B.Plan).
The JEE Main admit card 2021 also comprises JEE Main exam day instructions and guidelines. The same will also be mentioned on the official website https://jeemain.nta.nic.in. These JEE instructions 2021 are mandatory for all the aspirants to follow at the exam centre. JEE Main 2021 will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift would be conducted from 9 am to 12 noon and the second shift from 3 pm to 6 pm. Dress Code Related Instructions for JEE Main 2021
- The NTA has instructed candidates not to wear shoes/footwear with thick soles and garments at the exam hall.
- Candidates are not allowed to wear dupattas, turbans and caps unless it is a customary dress.
- Aspirants wearing Kara or Kirpan have to report to the JEE Main 2021 exam centre an hour before the commencement of the test and intimate the officials regarding the same.
- Students are not allowed to wear ornaments, jewellery, or metallic objects within the exam premises.

What to carry for JEE Mains 2021 exam
- Aspirants must reach the exam centre at least an hour before the reporting time.
- Candidates must have a hard copy (print out) of JEE Main 2021 admit card along with an Aadhaar card or any other photo id card else they won’t be allowed to enter the exam venue. The exam city details, time, and exam centre's address will be mentioned on JEE Main admit card.
- Along with the aforesaid documents, students will be allowed to carry a ball-point pen, pencil, a transparent water bottle, personal sanitiser, face mask and gloves.
- Diabetic students can carry eatables and water. Fruits or glucose tablets are also allowed to carry inside exam premises.
JEE Mains 2021 instructions related to COVID-19
- Before and after each shift, the entire seating area at the exam centre will be thoroughly sanitised including the monitor, keyboard, mouse, webcam, desk, and chair. All door handles, staircase railing, lift buttons, etc will also be disinfected.
- Candidates must maintain a gap of at least 6 feet from each other at all the time. Queue manager/ropes and Floor Marks will be arranged outside the centre, follow the instructions provided by the centre staff.
- Candidates appearing for the exam will be offered a fresh three Ply mask before entry. To stop the chances of any Unfair Means (UFM) being used in the examination, the candidate will need to wear the masks provided at the centre.
- Lab numbers and roll numbers will not be displayed outside the centre to avoid any gathering in any situation.
- As per GOI guidelines, seating arrangements will have gaps in between.
- Hand sanitiser will be available at entry and inside the exam venue at various places for candidates and centre staff to use.
The NTA will be conducting the JEE Main 2021 4th attempt exam at 828 centres of 334 cities in the country. For the first time, JEE Main is conducted in multiple (four) sessions for admissions in the next academic session. JEE Main 2021 answer key is expected to be released within three days after the conclusion of the exam. JEE Main result is also likely to be announced within a week after the exam will be over. JEE Main 2021 session 1, 2 and 3 was conducted from February 23 to 26, 2021, March 16, 17 & 18 and July 20, 22, 25 and 27 repsectively.
