MET 2020 counselling process has been started by Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) from August 18. The MET 2020 result has also been declared for BTech candidates on August 17. Eligible candidates will have to visit the official website at counseling.manipal.edu. To register online, candidates have to enter application number, OTBS password and captcha code. The MET 2020 exam was held online on August 1 to 12 in the computer-based test can register for MET 2020 counselling. After registration, candidates can fill and submit their choice of college and course.
Steps for MET 2020 Counselling

Visit the official website and login using application number and OTBS password

Click on the link to upload documents on the right side of the profile

Candidates will also have to manually enter the details along with uploading the documents

Candidates have to be careful while uploading documents as they won’t be able to make any changes

Only if the uploaded documents are rejected by authorities, candidates will be required to upload again

MET 2020 Counselling - Documents required
- Printout of filled-in Common Registration Form downloaded from Counseling portal
- MET 2020 Hall Ticket
- Class 10th Standard marks card (for date of birth proof)
- Class 12th Standard marks card issued by the recognized board
- Two Demand Drafts (Rs.3,25,000 and Rs. 10,000) drawn in favour of Manipal Academy of Higher Education payable at Manipal / Udupi 6 Aadhar Card of the Candidate
- Pan Card of the Parents
- 2 recent passport size photographs
- Authorization Letter (if the representative is attending on behalf of the candidate)
- Copy of Overseas Citizen of India/ Person of Indian Origin card (if applied under OCI/PIO category)
Candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of merit ranks obtained in the entrance test. Students who are allotted seats through MET counselling and seat allotment 2020 will be required to deposit the institute fees to confirm their admission. A total of four online rounds are expected to be conducted for counselling and seat allotment.

The authorities will prepare the MET cutoff after checking various exam and admission-related factors. Some of the factors that will be used to determine the cutoff are the exam difficulty level, previous years' cutoff trends, total number of applicants, total number of seats available for admission

If the students find any discrepancy in the MET result, then they are advised to contact the authorities immediately. The information should be corrected by the authorities as soon as possible. However, the scores and ranks will not be open for corrections.

At the MET exam centre, the students will have to bring one valid identity proof. They are allowed to bring any one of the following – Aadhaa Card/Voter ID/Passport/PAN Card/School ID, etc. No photocopies of the identity proof will be allowed.

No, the authorities will not accept digital copies of the MET admit card at the exam centre. All students will have to bring a print out of their hall ticket for verification. If the students do not have the physical copy of their admit card, they will not be allowed to attempt the exam.
