MET 2026 Participating Institutes: Candidates can check here list of MET participating campuses. List of BTech courses offered will be different for various MET participating campuses. There are four MET campuses offering BTech courses. During MET counselling, selection of courses and campuses has to be done.

MET participating institutes 2026 has been announced online. List of campuses where BTech admissions are available can be checked through Manipal MET participating institutes. During MET counselling, candidates have to select their choice of course and campus in order of preference. MET scores are checked for allotment. MET

MET 2026 Participating Institutes: Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) conducts MET as an annual exam to select eligible candidates for admission. Qualified candidates are eligible to apply for admission into MET participating institutes. Since Manipal is a private institute, they can choose any one of its campuses for allotment through its centralized MET examination and admission process. Out of all, four MET participating campuses offer BTech courses. Candidates will be eligible for admission into campuses in Manipal, Jaipur, Bengaluru and Sikkim.

All admissions will be done based on MET scores. Candidates will have to qualify and attempt MET exam, which will be held in two phases. Before MET registration, they should check official eligibility criteria. During counselling, candidates will have to choose their preferred MET campus. Q:   Are other exam scores considered for MET admissions?
A: 

The authorities do not consider any other exam score for MET admissions. All students will have to attempt and qualify the MET exam to be eligible for admission into the participating campuses. However, the basic 12th standard qualifying exam mark eligibility has to be met.

Q:   If both MET exam sessions are attempted, which score will be considered for admission?
A: 

If students attempt both MET exam sessions, then best score out of two will be considered for admission. Students are eligible to attempt one or both sessions of examination. If needed, a third session may also be conducted.

Q:   What after MET seat allotment?
A: 

After MET seat allotment, students will have to confirm their admission. Selected students will have to report to allotted institute to pay fee and verify their documents. If admission is not confirmed before final date, then it will be cancelled.

Q:   How is the MET merit list prepared?
A: 

The authorities will prepare the MET merit list to select students for admissions into the courses offered by the participating institutes. The performance of the students will be assessed to prepare the MET merit list. Separate merit lists will be prepared for different categories.

Manipal MET Counselling 2026

Qualified candidates have to participate in MET 2026 counselling process to be eligible for admissions into the participating campuses. MET 2026 counselling dates are announced online. Candidates will have to register for counselling and choose their preferred course and campuses. Selection of courses and campuses has to be done in order of preference. For every round of counselling, fresh registrations and choice filling will be accepted. MET 2026 counselling fee has to be paid online through credit card/debit card/net banking.

The MET counselling fee is INR 10,000. The students have to pay the MET counselling fee online, i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. If the students are selected for admission, the counselling fee will be adjusted with their tuition fee.

Q:   Is the MET result and score card the same?
A: 

MET result is released online. Students have to log in with required details to check their scores through MET result. They can download result in form of MET score card. During counselling, score card will be needed.

Q:   How can I register for MET counselling?
A: 

To register for MET counselling, students have to log in with application number and password. Once logged in, counselling fee has to be paid through net banking/credit card/debit card. Students have to choose preferred courses and campuses.

MET 2026 Cutoff

MAHE does not have a qualifying MET cutoff. However, for admissions into the participating campuses, MET cuotff will be prepared. Candidates who meet the cutoff will have higher chances of admission. It is to be noted that cutoff will be different for every category, campus and course. Some of the factors that will be considered by the authorities while determining the cutoff are given below.

  • Previous years' trends.
  • Total number of seats available for admission in a course.
  • Total number of candidates who applied for course.
  • Total number of candidates for MET 2026.
  • Difficulty level of examination.

According to previous years' trends, 185+ marks in MET along with minimum 85% marks in 12th standard exam will have chances for a safe rank for CSE in Manipal.

120 in MET is a good score, as it will give candidates higher chances of admission into core courses in participating campuses. This score has less chance of securing admission in CSE.

Overall, MET is easier than JEE Main since most questions are not as conceptually challenging as JEE Main. However, students face time management issues during MET.
