VITEEE 2020 application form last date extended till July 31

VITEEE 2020 application form: Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has extended the last date to fill the VITEEE 2020 application form online till July 31. Candidates aspiring for admission to BTech admissions in VIT must fill their forms before the last date.

The VITEEE application form has been made available by the institute on its official website i.e. https://viteee.vit.ac.in. Previously, the authorities had opened the application process till further notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Candidates can fill the application form by clicking on the link below.

Candidates must note that it is now mandatory for them to add their marks in class XII or equivalent qualifying examination while filling the application form. If the candidates have attempted JEE Main 2020 in January, they must submit information related to the exam too. For candidates who already had filled the OMR application form of VITEEE 2020, a link has been activated to enter the above-mentioned details for the admission process.

VITEEE 2020 has been cancelled by the VIT University for undergraduate engineering (BTech) admissions due to the pandemic. Admissions to the university will now be based on the class XII standard qualifying scores in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology. However, students having JEE Main score will be given weightage.

VITEEE is conducted every year for admission to BTech courses offered by the various campuses of the University. However, for this session, the entrance exam will not be conducted and all admissions will be done through counselling.

Yes, the mathematics subject/section is important and compulsory in the VITEEE exam, specifically for BTech programmes. For students applying under PCB, must have biology as their compulsory subject. Candidates must have passed with an aggregate of 60% marks in Mathematics in the qualifying exam.

Based in tentative schedule released by the VIT Group of Institutions, VITEEE 2026 result is expected to be announced by the second week of May 2026. Only students who had attempted the exam on given slots will be able to access VIT result 2026.
