To get 400+ marks in VIT 2027 exam, it is important to understand the structure and format of the exam, which also includes the competition level and how many students attempt VITEEE every year. Let’s break down the VITEEE preparation module one by one.

This year, the VIT Group of Institutions have introduced negative marking, One incorrect answer -1 mark deducted. Overall, VITEEE question paper will consist of 125 questions, and the total mark is 500, which students have to solve within 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Students scoring 400+ marks (400 to 450 marks in VIT exam) will likely get a rank within 500 -1500. 400+ marks refer to a high score (top performance), placing them in category 1 and 2 for at VIT Vellore or VIT Chennai campus. However, for VIT Vellore campus for CSE core branch, 450+ marks are required.
