Deciding Factor for CLAT 2026 Rank Prediction
Both CLAT rank and marks are the deciding factors for the merit list, as the exam authority allots ranks based on marks obtained by candidates. Further, the qualified candidates are segregated based on category (including horizontal reservations) for all NLUs. Apart from this, the factors that determine CLAT 2026 Ranks are:
- How many candidates appeared in the exam
- Overall score and rankings
- NLU preference chosen by the aspirants
- No. of seats available
- CLAT NLU Reservation 2026 procedures
- Difficulty level of the CLAT Exam
Apart from the CLATAdmit Card, candidates must carry the following documents to the exam centre:
- Passport-sized photograph (same as the one uploaded with the application form)
- A valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar card/ Driving Licence/ PAN Card/ Passport/ Voter ID)
- Transparent water bottle
CLAT exam day dos:
- Reach examination centre at the reporting time mentioned on your CLAT admit card.
- Carry two copies of the CLAT admit card, one photo ID card, passport size photos
- PwD candidates should carry relevant certificates and documents.
- Carry a blue/black ball point pen for signing attendance sheet
CLAT exam day don'ts:
- Do not carry items such as bags, purses, pencil box, beepers, wrist watch, calculators, mobile phones, electronic devices, scanners, cameras, wireless/Bluetooth transmission or any such communication devices.
- Don't wear closed shoes, jewellery made of metal, jackets, clothes with pockets, mehendi on palms. Socks are allowed inside it.
- Don't wear caps, hoodies or jackets/shirts with pockets
- Don't be late for exam. Entry gates will be closed 15 minutes before the commencement of exam.

The Consortium of NLUs awards marks to a candidate based on their performance in all the five sections of CLAT question paper (undergraduate) as under:

Therefore, the scorecard of the CLAT exam includes scores obtained by candidates in each section, as well as overall scores obtained in the exam.
Candidates must note that CLAT 2026 Objection Window is now closed. Candidates could raise objection on CLAT Answer Key on or before December 12 until 5 pm. Once the objections were received, the consortium published the CLAT Final Answer Key. Based on that, the CLAT Result will be announced.
The CLAT exam will be conducted in December 2026. The exam timing will be 2 pm to 4 pm. The consortium has not announced the CLAT Exam Dates yet.

CLAT 2026 Rank Vs Marks
The major difference between CLAT 2026 ranks and marks is:
- Marks are consolidated scores obtained in the CLAT exam
- Ranks are positioned in each category based on marks and tie-breaking criteria
Therefore, it becomes essential for a candidate to score well in the CLAT exam, to get a higher rank in the merit list. Candidates must understand that the CLAT Exam is for admission to NLUs and it is national level competitve exam. But AIL LET Exam is for one specific college. It is completly a personal choice to choose.

The AIL LET Exam is comparatively easier than the CLAT. While CLAT is held for NLUs, the AIL LET Exam is only for Army Institute of Law. Hence, the competition and difficutly level is bit less.

No, the CLAT-UG has been concluded for the 2026 Chanakya Law University Patna BBA LLB admissions. Candidates who are interested in applying for the aforementioned course are now required to wait for CLAT 2027 to begin. The CLAT-UG registrations generally begin in the month of August.

Both exams are national level. While AIBE is a certification exam, CLAT is an entrance exam to get admission into NLUs. The difficulty level of both the exams are more or less same.
