Several coaching institutes will release Karnataka PGCET unofficial answer key anytime soon. Official Karnataka PGCET 2026 answer key is expected in a 2-3 days. As per the Karnataka PGCET exam analysis, the PGCET MBA exam was tougher this time with GK and Computer Awareness being the toughest sections of all.

Karnataka PGCET Answer Key 2026: Several coaching institutes will release Karnataka PGCET unofficial answer key anytime soon. Official Karnataka PGCET 2026 answer key is expected in a 2-3 days. As per the Karnataka PGCET exam analysis, the PGCET MBA exam was tougher this time with GK and Computer Awareness being the toughest sections of all. PGCET exam 2026 had questions from five sections, namely Computer Awareness, Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Ability, English Language and General Knowledge.

Following the conclusion of the Karnataka PGCET 2026 exam, KEA will release the provisional answer key on their official website (kea.kar.nic.in) within a few days.

Candidates will have the opportunity to review the provisional key and submit objections. If candidates find discrepancies, they can challenge the answers by providing supporting evidence during the designated objection window. Once the objections are reviewed by KEA's subject experts, the final answer key will be published. The final exam results, expected in July 2026, will be computed based on this final answer key.

How to Calculate Scores using PGCET Answer Key?

Candidates can estimate their Karnataka PGCET 2026 exam scores before the official results are declared by comparing their OMR responses with the official answer key.

  1. Understand the Marking Scheme: The exam contains 100 questions, carrying a total of 100 marks.

  2. Assign Marks for Correct Answers: Award yourself exactly 1 mark for every answer that matches the official answer key.

  3. Account for Incorrect Answers: The Karnataka PGCET has no negative marking. Do not deduct any marks for incorrect answers or unattempted questions.

  4. Compute the Final Score: Add the total number of correct answers.

The highest rank acceptable in 2024 was 2206 for the General AI category. So, students who have a rank below 2206 have a better chance of admission in the MBA/PGDM course. Students should know that the cutoff for other categories will vary.

Qualifying Karnataka PGCET is compulsory for Karnataka domicile students to get admission in M.Arch in BMS School of Architecture. For others, it is not compulsory and they can get admission based on GATE score or through Management Quota.
