SIMSREE is one of the top MBA colleges in Maharashtra, affiliated to University of Mumbai. For about 180 seats, thousands of aspirants apply every year. The institute offers Master of Management Studies or MMS course which is a 2-year full time programme. Candidates can choose Marketing, Finance, Operations, HR and Systems as specialization.

Admission to the course is done through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by Maharashtra State CET Cell. Apart from MAH CET, the institute also accepts scores of CMAT, CAT, MAT, ATMA. Cut offs for these exams are also on the higher side.

SIMSREE Eligibility Criteria for MMS

For admission to SIMSREE, only meeting the MAH MBA CET cut off is not enough. Candidates have to meet the academic requirement as well, as mandated by the AICTE.

  • The candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in Graduation
  • In case of candidates domiciled in Maharashtra and belonging to the Reserved Categories, the marks cut off is 45%.
  • Candidates in final year of graduation can also apply for admission to SIMSREE

SIMSREE Mumbai: Admission Criteria and Selection Process

SIMSREE Mumbai admission criteria for MMS course includes selection of candidates based on MAH MBA CET cut off and seat allotment. The process is called MAH CET MBA CAP, which is conducted about a month after MBA CET result announcement. Given below are main stages of SIMSREE Mumbai admission process.

  • Register in the MAH CET CAP round as per the schedule
  • Select SIMSREE college in the CAP registration from
  • Round wise seat allotment list and cut offs will be released
  • If a seat is allocated to you, visit college and complete admission formality
  • If a seat in not allotted, you should wait for next round list

Candidates must note that unlike other B-Schools, SIMSREE does not have the Written Ability Test and Personal Interview as part of its selection process. The main criteria is SIMSREE MAH MBA CET Cutoff

SIMSREE MMS Fee Structure

SIMSREE course fee for the 2-year MMS programme is only INR 67000 per year. Candidates have to pay an additional amount of INR 2000 per year as library fee.

Candidates who have appeared for the MAH MBA CET 2026 on April 6, 7, 8 or those who will be appearing for the exam on May 9, must aim to score 99.99 percentile and meet the SIMSREE cut off to get a seat in this prestigious institute.

MAH MBA CET 2026 score will be valid for one year only, i. e. it can be used for admission to the 2026 academic session only. If a candidate plans to drop admission this year, they will have to appear for the exam again next year.

MAH MBA CET is an annual exam. So far candidates were able to appear for it only once. However, from 2026, the examination body is offering 2 attempts to candidates in the same academic session to improve score.

MAH MBA CET 2026 exam is being held in 2 phases. One phase was held on April 6, 7, 8 and second phase will be held on May 9. Since this year, candidates have got two attempts, the result is expected to be released after May 9 attempt.

Yes, MAT score valid for MAH CET counselling for MBA/MMS. Candidates can apply for admission to Maharashtra MBA colleges by registering for the CAP round under non-MAH CET category. MAH CET CAP is conducted in July-August, every year.

Yes, MAH CET exam is held in about 12 cities outside Maharashtra. It is held in Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Jaipur, Ranchi, Gandhinagar, Delhi, Kolkata, Panaji, Bangalore, Delhi-NCR, Lucknow and Verna.

It requires a minimum of 3 months to cover each and every topic of MAH MBA CET. Candidates must dedicate at least that much time to cover the syllabus with detailed study, practice and revision.
