SNAP 2026 exam will be conducted for 60 minutes and the question paper will have 60 questions too. It is thus natural to wonder how to solve a question in less than a minute. Candidates don’t have to do that. They should solve about 45+ questions to get the best result. But for that, they need to have a SNAP time management strategy to be able to maximize their performance. SNAP 2026 exam dates are December 13, 19 and 26, 2026. On all three days, the test will be conducted for 60 minutes. Candidates can apply for 1, 2 or all three sessions. Best of all scores will be considered for the admission. Candidates must preferably take two attempts. They can learn from the first experience to improvise in the second attempt. SNAP application 2026 is ongoing and the last date to apply is November 25, 2026.

SNAP Time Management Strategy

SNAP exam is a speed based test, thus quick calculation and quick execution is supreme. In mere 60 minutes candidates have to read and solve 60 questions from four different subjects. Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning and English. There is no time limit in SNAP either so that the candidate can rely on it. The main challenge is to complete each section within a time limit, to be able to solve a good number of questions in each section. Sectional cut off is important for SIU MBA admission, thus there can’t be a rushed performance in any of the sections of SNAP 2026. Candidates have to target 2/3^rd of the total questions in each section to get a decent score. Therefore, the need for time management.

SNAP Syllabus 2026

There is a new addition in SNAP syllabus – Ethics, Morality and Values. Since SIU announced the new section in August, those who were preparing for the exam from before need to alter their plan. And those who will start now, should divide time according to 4 subjects.

Time Management in SNAP 2026

Going by the SNAP syllabus, Quantitative and Logical Reasoning questions will be time consuming. While a few Quant questions can be calculation heavy, Reasoning questions may be set-based that will require multiple read. Here’s how you should divide your time in the SNAP 2026 exam:

• General English ( 5 minutes) – As soon as the SNAP exam 2026 starts, go to English questions and solve them within first 5minutes. There are no RC passages SNAP. This year, there will be only 10 questions in this section, so you can finish quickly.
• Easy Logical Reasoning and Quants questions (25 to 30 minutes): Next, focus on LR and Quants. Pick up easy and straightforward questions that require minimal calculation.
• Tough Quants (Final 10–15 minutes): Next pick up tougher questions in Quants and LR sections. Make sure to not spend more than 1.5 minutes on any question. If you find it tough to solve, leave it and move on.
• Ethics, Morality and Values (10 minutes) – In the last 10 minutes, solve Ethics, Morality and Values questions. These will be essentially memory based questions so you’ll either know the answer or not. You may save some time to review the test or try one more attempt at a question skipped earlier.

Time Management in SNAP 2026: Tips to Remember

• If you can’t figure out the base of a question within 5 to 10 seconds, skip it and move on to the next question. Come back to it later.
• Given a glance to all the questions in the SNAP question paper first and make a note of easy ones. Solve the easy ones first.
• Try to read every question twice to ensure you’ve not missed any point in the first reading. SNAP has negative marking so you must avoid hasty action.
• Since SNAP does not have sectional time limit, you have the option to toggle between sections. Use the time saved to solve questions you left earlier due to lack of time or difficulty level.
• Attempt every SNAP mock test, keeping in mind the time division mentioned above. With regular practice, your mind will get attuned to the time limit for the actual SNAP exam.

Do not try to attempt all the questions in SNAP 2026. You will not get them all anyway. So, aim for sectional cut offs.
