It is always advisable to never let your score in any one exam affect your preparations as well as confidence in the other(s) in which you could have pretty good chances of getting a much better score.
On January 28, Tuesday 12:30 pm or 5:30 pm (as per the exam slot), all the aspirants must have had breathed a huge sigh of relief. Some may have been quite happy with the exam whereas the others may not have been so. Nevertheless, every candidate who had studied diligently for the CMAT deserves a well-earned rest. After leaving the test centre, it is advised to reach home and have that much-needed relaxation time in the company of your family and friends.
Later on, do check the in-depth analyses of the exam from various reliable articles and videos shared by the education portals and coaching classes on the Internet. According to that, you can figure out what your final score could be in each of the four sections as well as try to understand where you could’ve scored more and where you couldn’t. If you’re sure enough to get a good college via CMAT itself, you may start prepping up for its interviews simultaneously and be ahead of others.
In the case of missing scoring well in a particular section and/or the entire exam, don’t feel too disheartened since a bad day can happen to even the most serious candidates. Try to jot down all the possible major and minor errors that happened while you gave the CMAT so as to not repeat them in the subsequent exams (in case you are giving them).
I would also strongly recommend all the aspirants to be practical about the expectations from their exam results. Even after the CMAT, there are more good exams yet to be conducted such as the MAT, ATMA, and the MAH-CET. It is always advisable to never let your score in any one exam affect your preparations as well as confidence in the other(s) in which you could have pretty good chances of getting a much better score.
Though the upcoming exams involve a slightly different preparation strategy as compared to the CMAT, do not forget that the preparation done in one exam will be helpful, directly or indirectly, in the other exam as well since the syllabus for almost all the MBA entrance exams is similar. Also, it is advised to start giving mock tests well in advance so that you can understand the exam pattern and be ahead of your fellow competitors in the preparation.
To conclude, my final suggestion would be that until the CMAT results are declared on February 4, stay positive and be optimistic about your final scores. Good luck to all!
