TANCET Counselling Process 2026

The Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu, administers centralised counselling based on TANCET ranks. Candidates who get their names in the TANCET rank lists are eligible to participate in the TANCET general counselling and choose college preferences during the choice filling process. TN MBA admission process is conducted online at tn-mbamca.com. TN MBA MCA admission process includes the following stages:

  1. Counselling registration
  2. Verification of uploaded documents
  3. Release of TANCET rank list
  4. In person counselling for special categories
  5. TANCET general counselling
    • Payment of counselling fee
    • Choice filling
    • Release of tentative allotment
    • Confirmation of tentative allotment
    • Publication of provisional allotment
    • Reporting at allotted college
  6. Supplementary counselling for MCA and MBA
  7. Conversion counselling for MBA and MCA
