TSICET 2020 was conducted on September 30 and October 1. According to experts, the exam was of moderate to tough difficulty level. Get the detailed section-wise analysis here.

TSICET 2020 was held in a two-day window on September 30 and October 1. The exam was conducted by Kakatiya University, Warangal, on behalf of Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE) in 16 cities across the state. TSICET 2020 t was held in computer-based mode in forenoon and afternoon slots on Day 1 and forenoon slot on Day 2. According to the test takers and experts, the difficulty level of the exam can be termed as moderate to tough. While Mathematical Ability was considered to be the toughest section, Communication Ability was the easiest among the rest. Let us take a look at the detailed TSICET 2020 analysis.

TSICET 2020 Section-Wise Difficulty Level

The total duration of the exam was 2.5 hours and there was no negative marking scheme in the exam. The following table brings the day-wise difficulty level of the three sections in TSICET 2020.

Now we bring to you the section-wise analysis of the exam.

TSICET 2020 Section-Wise Analysis

Analytical Ability

In this section, out of 75 questions, 20 were asked from Data Sufficiency and 55 were from Problem Solving area. The Data Sufficiency questions were from Geometry, Modulus, Mensuration, Quadratic Equations and Progressions. Most of the Data Analysis questions were lengthy and calculation intensive. The topics included Set Theory, Data Interpretation, Pie Chart, and Tables. Despite being lengthy, Data Analysis questions were easy. The questions from the Reasoning area were from Time and Arrangement, Problem Solving, Coding-Decoding, Blood Relations and Symbols.

Mathematical Ability

As stated before, this was the toughest section of the exam. The questions were lengthy and time-consuming. The topics from which the questions were asked included Number System, Time and Work, Profit & Loss, Ratio & Proportion, Equations, Numbers and Geometry.

Communication Ability

In this section, 15 questions were asked from the Reading Comprehension section. The passages were easy to comprehend and the questions were direct. The questions from Vocabulary were on Synonyms-Antonym, Parts of Speech, Idioms and Phrases. The questions on Computer and Business Terminologies were easy to moderate. The questions were also based on economic recession, RBI, etc.

The TSICET 2020 preliminary answer keys will be released on October 7 and the objections can be filed till October 10. Final answer keys and result will be released on October 23.

No, candidates cannot carry a watch or any electronic devices to the TGICET exam centre. Items like mobile phones, calculators, and pagers are also prohibited inside test centre.
