According to the GSEB 2025-26 calendar, the Class 10 (SSC) and Class 12 (HSC) board exams will take place from February 26, 2026 to March 16, 2026. These exams will include all streams and will be conducted for both theoretical and practical assessments.

Gujarat Board Exam 2026: The Gujarat Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has officially released the academic calendar for the 2025-26 academic session for students in Classes 9 to 12. This calendar outlines key dates for exams, vacations, and school-level activities, providing a comprehensive schedule for students, teachers, and parents to plan ahead for the upcoming academic year.

GSEB SSC and HSC Exam Dates for 2026

According to the GSEB 2025-26 calendar, the Class 10 (SSC) and Class 12 (HSC) board exams will take place from February 26, 2026 to March 16, 2026. These exams will include all streams and will be conducted for both theoretical and practical assessments.

In addition to the main exams, the Class 10 and 12 supplementary exams for 2025 will be held from June 16 to June 26, 2025.

• Supplementary Exams (Classes 10, 12): June 16, 2025 to June 26, 2025
• First Term Exam (Classes 9 to 12): September 11, 2025 to September 20, 2025
• Prelim/Second Term Exam (All Streams): January 16, 2026 to January 24, 2026
• Talent Search Test (Class 9): January 28, 2026
• School-Level Board Exams (Classes 10 and 12): January 30, 2026 to February 3, 2026
• Class 12 (Science Stream) Theoretical & Practical Exams (Internal): February 5, 2026 to February 13, 2026
• SSC / HSC Board Exams (All Streams): February 26, 2026 to March 16, 2026
• School Annual Exam (Classes 9 and 11): April 9, 2026 to April 20, 2026

Changes in Gujarat Board Exam Dates for Class 9 and 11

Recently, the GSEB revised the exam dates for Class 9 and Class 11 students. The annual school exams for these classes will now be held on April 21, 2025, instead of the previously scheduled date of April 12, 2025.

The Gujarat Board has also provided a detailed breakdown of the academic terms and vacation periods for the 2025-26 session:

• First Term: June 9, 2025 to October 15, 2025
• Diwali Vacation: October 16, 2025 to November 5, 2025
• Second Term: November 6, 2025 to May 3, 2026
• Summer Vacation: May 4, 2026 to June 7, 2026
• New Academic Year 2026–27: From June 8, 2026

GSEB Exam Guidelines 2025-26

For the 2025-26 academic year, the entire syllabus will be applicable for Classes 9 to 12. The following guidelines have been set for the various exams:

• First Term Exam (Classes 9 to 12): The syllabus will include topics taught from June to August.
• Preliminary Exam (Classes 10 and 12): The full syllabus will be covered.
• Second Term Exam (Classes 9 and 11): The syllabus will be divided as follows:
  • 30% from June to August
  • 70% from September to December
• For the Class 10 and 12 Board Exams and Annual Exams for Classes 9 and 11, the entire syllabus will be applicable.
