About Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE)
The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (Marathi is a statutory and autonomous body established under the "Maharashtra Secondary Boards Act" 1965 (amended in 1977). It conducts the SSC for 10th class and HSC for 12th class examinations. It has been ranked 4th in the 'Futuristic Education Boards in India' among more than 35 educational boards in the country. About 21,000 SSC schools and 700 HSC schools across the state of Maharashtra are affiliated to MSBSHSE which conducts the examinations for lakhs of students. All MSBSHSE-affiliated schools follow the NCERT course curriculum.
