WBCHSE stands for West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education which is responsible to conduct HS Exams. WBCHSE conducts WB HS exams every year in February. In 2024, the exams were held between February 16 and 29, 2024 in pen and paper format. WB hS result 2024 is expected to be out in May on the official website- wbresults.nic.in. Students will be able to check their WBCHSE result 2024 using roll number and date of birth. 

The number of students appearing for WB Class 12 exams ranges between 7.5 and 8.2 lakh. 

In 2024, a total of 7,55,324 students had appeared for the exams.

The WB HS exam timings are from 9:50 am to 12 pm. The duration of the exam is 2 hours, and students get 10 minutes extra to read question paper. 

The exam pattern mentions the marking scheme, types of questions asked in the exams, chapter-wise distribution of marks and more. Students must know the exam pattern well as this will help them score better marks.

The duration of the WB 12th exams is 3 hours. The timings of the examination are between 9:45 am and 1 pm. 

Marking done by WBCHSE is fair and lenient. After the evaluators are done with the checking, the answer sheet goes for another round of random checking by the supervisor, to ensure it's fairness.

In case the details mentioned in your WBCHSE result are incorrect, you must contact the school officials and get them rectified. It is important to have correct details in your result, marksheet and other certificates as these are important documents and will be required at the time of admission for higher education.
