AILET 2026 Result: Tie-Break Method

To find the AILET merit rank, if two or more students get the same marks in the AILET 2026 exam, NLU Delhi follows a tie-breaking rule. The process used to decide the final rank is explained below in simple steps.

For the BA LLB program

  1. If two or more candidates score the same marks, the AILET merit will be decided by who has higher marks in the Logical Reasoning section.
  2. If the tie still continues, the candidate who is older in age will get preference.
  3. And if it remains unresolved even then, the AILET merit rank will be finalized through a computerized draw of lots.

For AILET PG (LLM) program

  1. Senior Age;
  2. Computerized draw of lots
