The CTET 2026 exam date has been announced by the CBSE. The CTET exam will be held on February 7 & 8, 2026 offline in pen and paper mode. The exam is conducted on a single day in two shifts for Paper 1 and Paper 2. Arrange CTET admit card & necessary documents
Candidates must reach the CTET exam centre as per the reporting time mentioned on their admit cards. Candidates generally need to report at the test centre 120 minutes before the examination.
Candidates need to carry these documents to the CTET exam centre-
- CTET admit card
- ID proof- PAN card or Voter ID card or Passport or Driving License or Aadhaar Card
- Two photographs
Candidates need to carry the CTET admit card photo ID proof and photographs to the exam centres. Candidates should arrange these documents well in advance and carry them to the CTET exam centre.

Candidates should follow the following tips on the day of the exam:

Yes, the CTET exam has been resceduled. Due to high number of applications, the Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the exam on February 7 and 8 instead of only 8 February.

In the application form, you'll find a section “Choice of Examination Centres” where you can select multiple preferred exam cities (usually up to 4 choices) in order of preference.
