CTET 2025
CTET 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will soon release the official bulletin for the 21st edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) exam. The CTET notification 2025 is expected in September 2025 on the official website- ctet.nic.in. The CTET application form 2025 will be released along with the official notification. Candidates should fulfil the prescribed CTET eligibility criteria 2025, including the age limit and educational qualification, to apply for the exam. The last date of the CTET registration will be mentioned in the notification. The CTET exam is expected to be held tentatively in December 2025.

CTET 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfil the CTET 2025 eligibility criteria to appear for the exam. The CTET eligibility 2025 in terms of education qualification and age limit is shared below:
CTET Eligibility 2025: Paper 1
Candidates need to fulfil any one of the given eligibility criteria for CTET Paper 1:
- Senior Secondary or its equivalent exam with a minimum of 50 per cent marks and cleared or appearing in final year exam of Diploma in Elementary Education (2 years duration). OR
- Senior Secondary or its equivalent exam, securing a minimum of 45 per cent marks and cleared or appearing in the final year exam of Diploma in Elementary Education (2 years duration). OR
- Senior Secondary or its equivalent exam with a minimum of 50 per cent marks and cleared or appearing in the final year exam of Bachelor of Elementary Education (4 years duration). OR
- Senior Secondary or its equivalent test with a minimum of 50 per cent marks and cleared or appearing in the final year exam of Diploma in Education (2 years duration). OR
- Bachelor’s degree with a BEd.
CTET Eligibility 2025: Paper 2
Candidates need to fulfil any one of the given eligibility criteria for CTET Paper 2:
- Graduation degree and has passed or is appearing in the final year examination of Diploma in Elementary Education (2 years duration). OR
- Graduation degree with 50 per cent marks and has cleared or appeared in the final year exam of BEd. OR
- Graduation degree with 40 per cent marks and has cleared or appearing in the final year exam of BEd, according to NCTE regulations. OR
- Senior Secondary or its equivalent test with a minimum of 50 per cent marks and has cleared or appearing in final year exam of 4 years duration Bachelor of Elementary Education. OR
- Senior Secondary or its equivalent exam with 50 per cent marks and cleared or appearing in final year exam of B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed or B.A/B.Sc.Ed. OR
- Graduation degree with 50 per cent marks and has cleared or appearing in BEd program of 1-year duration.

CTET 2025 Application Form
The online application form for the CTET 2025 exam will be available along with the official notification. The CTET application form 2025 link will be active for around one month. The CTET last date 2025 to fill out the CTET application form will be mentioned on the notification itself.
How to fill the CTET Form 2025?
Candidates can fill out the CTET form by following the given steps:

- Click on the ‘Apply for CTET…’ link.
- Click on ‘New Registration’

Yes, you can apply for CTET Paper 1 only if you make sure that you meet the minimum teacher education requirement for Classes 1 to 5.
