The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the CUET 2025 exam between 8 May 2025 and 1 June 2025. The mode of examination will be CBT. CUET Fashion Design Syllabus
CUET Fashion Design Syllabus 2025: NTA conducts the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) once a year. The exam is held to offer admission in various undergraduate programmes in central/private/deemed/state universities across India. The CUET Exam consists of three sections: Section - I (Language Paper), Section - II (Domain Paper), and Section - III (General Paper). Earlier there were 29 domain subjects in the CUET UG Exam, but UGC has recently deleted few subjects, including Fashion Studies, reducing the number of domain subjects to 23.Universities will offer admission to courses related to Fashion Studies based on General Aptitude Test (GAT) Score.

NTA has released the CUET 2025 Syllabus for every section and subject on its official website - cuet.nta.nic.in. National Testing Agency has started the CUET 2025 registration from 1 March 2025 and will end on 22 March 2025. CUET UG 2025 exams will be held between 8 May 2025 and 1 June 2025.

CUET UG Fashion Design Syllabus
According to the CUET Exam Pattern 2025, the candidates will have to attempt 50 questions within 60 minutes. Candidates preparing for the CUET Exam can also refer to the CUET Previous Years' Question Papers and CUET UG Mock Tests to score good marks in the exam.

As per NTA, the CUET UG syllabus adheres to the NCERT syllabus. Hence, it can be assumed that the NCERT books are enough to cover the syllabus of the CUET UG exam. Candidates must note that the CUET exam tests students' understanding of the subject concepts and ability to apply them in various situations.
Therefore, to prepare well and get a good score, it is advised that students refer to other study materials and books designed for national-level competitive entrance exams. The CUET UG syllabus is similar with the Class 12 Board exam syllabus. The chapters and topics are similar to Class 12 syllabus. Unlike other UG entrance exams, CUET UG syllabus does not include Class 11 syllabus.
Candidates can choose upto four exam cities of their choice while filling the CUET application form. NTA will try best to allot the city of examination to the candidates in the order of preference opted by them in their CUET 2026 application form. However, due to administrative/logistic reasons, a different city can be allotted to the candidates. Choice of CUET 2026 centre city will be limited to the State of Permanent Address or State of Present Address only. In case, there are very few candidates from a particular CUET exam centre city, the NTA reserves the right to merge one, two, or more cities.
Candidates will have the oppurtunity to choose the exam city while filling the CUET application form 2026. Candidates must carefully choose the exam cities. No request for change in exam centre will be entertained once the admit cards are issued.
Since the CUET UG syllabus is in line with the Class 12 Board exam syllabus, it can be safely assumed that the NCERT books are enough to clear the exam. Candidates must note that the CUET exam tests students' understanding of the concepts and ability to apply them in various situations. Therefore, to prepare well and get a good score, it is advised that students refer to other study materials and books designed for national-level competitive entrance exams.

Check the notice before you rely on it. You must qualify JEE Main or CUET for UPTAC. A news report says only candidates with a valid JEE Main 2026 rank could register. The special rounds list CUET (UG) 2026 along with JEE Main. So CUET may help only in some rounds. JEE Main is the safe choice.
