Separate exams are conducted to offer admission to aspirants in different courses offered at GITAM Institute of Science. In each test of GSAT there are a total of 60 multiple choice questions.
GSAT 2021 Exam Pattern for BEM/Five year integrated MSc Biotechnology/BSc Course
The exam pattern for GSAT 2021 has not been released yet. However, last year's test paper for GSAT for admission in BEM/Five year integrated MSc Biotechnology/BSc comprised of 30 questions in each section. Given below is the previous year's exam pattern.

Exceptions:
- Candidates seeking admission in BSc course at GITAM need to attempt Mathematicss, Physics and Chemistry sections in GSAT 2021.
- Candidates seeking admission in BEM programme and who have other than science optionals at Intermediate/+2 need to attempt questions from Environmental education section.
