NLAT Cancelled, all admission in all NLUs is via CLAT.

The National Law Admission Test (NLAT) 2020 application process is open now. Candidates can apply for NLAT 2020 before September 10 on the official website of NLSIU. To apply for NLAT 2020, candidates first need to register using personal details such as name, programme, mobile number, and password. Candidates also need to pay the application fee Rs 150 for if belonging to General and PWD category and, Rs 125 if belonging to SC/ST category candidates. The application process will be complete only after the fee payment of NLAT 2020.

How to apply for NLSIU NLAT 2020?

Candidates have to apply for the NLAT 2020 in simple steps mentioned below: 

  1. Visit the official website of NLSIU or click here for direct link - admissions.nls.ac.in/
  2. Click on the 'register' button on the login window and, a pop-up registration form will open up
  3. Candidates need to enter their personal details including mobile number and password (new creation) to register for NLAT 2020
  4. Then, candidates need to login using mobile number and password to fill the application form of NLAT 2020
  5. Candidates can fill the form with academic information, caste category information, upload photograph and documents 
  6. In the next step, candidates can save and proceed to pay the application fee in online mode only 
  7. Thereafter, candidates have to submit the application once the fee payment is successful
  8. Candidates can download and save the application form of NLAT 2020 for future references at the time of admission.

NLSIU NLAT 2020 Application Fee

According to the admission notification of NLSIU NLAT 2020, "The Sub-Committee considered all available options and concluded that a common entrance test conducted online at the earliest and with the lowest possible application fee would be a fair, transparent and accessible admissions process."

Candidates can pay the application fee of NLAT 2020 as per the below online methods: 

  • Debit Card or Credit Card 
  • Net Banking 
  • UPI Payment Apps

Documents for NLAT 2020 Application Form

Candidates have to upload the following documents in the online application form of NLSIU NLAT 2020: 

  1. Scanned copy of a recent passport size photograph (color photo with white/ light background for clarity) 
  2. Scanned copy of an original Government-issued photo id proof such as Driver’s license, Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Ration Card, Passport
  3. Scanned copy of original class 10th mark sheet and certificate 
  4. Scanned copy of original class 12th mark sheet and certificate 
  5. Scanned copy of original caste certificate/ tribe certificate/disability certificate wherever applicable,
  6. Scanned copy of the documented proof, including Letter from the Head of Institution and School certificates or Report cards to prove schooling in Karnataka for ten years, wherever
    applicable.
